Five months after the official introduction of the all-new GMC Terrain in the Latin American country, General Motors has just launched the 2026 GMC Terrain AT4 and Denali variants in Mexico.

The automaker’s Mexican subsidiary launched the 2026 GMC Terrain lineup in the domestic market, marking the second model year of GMC’s third-generation compact crossover manufactured exclusively in Mexico. The 2026 Terrain lineup expands from the base Elevation to include the AT4 and Denali trim levels, bolstering the model’s offering, which now includes a variant for every premium customer profile in the Mexican market.

“The 2026 Terrain reflects GMC’s DNA, combining the latest technology and premium safety features with an updated exterior and interior design,” said Marketing Manager for GMC at GM Mexico, Tere Vera. “With the arrival of the AT4 and Denali trim levels, our customers will be able to choose the configuration that best reflects their personality, with all the Professional Grade features they expect,” she added.

As such, the new AT4 and Denali variants of the 2026 GMC Terrain will join the Elevation trim level, which comes standard with the Black Edition appearance package, offering a complete range covering the entire spectrum of the premium C-segment in Mexico. Each of the trim levels includes a specific front-end design, as well as unique finishes and wheels that accentuate the profiles of the new 2026 Terrain.

Specifically, the AT4 version of the 2026 GMC Terrain offers enhanced off-road capabilities with increased ground clearance, a front skid plate, 17-inch wheels and all-terrain tires, along with optional two-tone bodywork. The Denali trim level raises the luxury standard in its segment with advanced technologies, higher craftsmanship, enhanced interior comfort, chrome accents and 20-inch aluminum wheels.

The 2026 GMC Terrain range will be available for sale at GMC dealers in Mexico during the month of June. All versions of the 2026 Terrain are equipped with the turbocharged 1.5L I4 LSD engine that develops 175 horsepower and 203 pound-feet of torque, coupled to the GM eight-speed automatic transmission and standard AWD. Here is pricing for the 2026 GMC Terrain in Mexico:

  • 2026 Terrain Black Edition: 819,900 pesos (about $42,540 USD at current exchange rates)
  • 2026 Terrain AT4: 929,900 pesos ($48,250 USD)
  • 2026 Terrain Denali: 974,900 pesos ($50,580 USD)
