2026 Corvette Stingray Gets New Base Wheels

As GM Authority has covered at length, the 2026 Corvette Stingray arrives with a range of important updates, including a new interior layout, new infotainment goodies, new styling options, and a whole lot more. In addition, the 2026 Corvette Stingray is now offering a new standard wheel design. Notably, the new standard Stingray wheel replaces a design previously equipped as standard since the C8’s debut model year.

The 2026 Corvette Stingray is equipped with a new standard wheel design.

For 2026, the Corvette Stingray is now equipped with the 19-inch front and 20-inch rear five-split-spoke Pearl Nickel forged aluminum wheels (RPO code QEB) as standard. Images of the new wheel design have yet to be released.

Previously, the C8 Stingray was equipped with the 19-inch front and 20-inch rear 5-open-spoke Bright Silver-painted aluminum wheel (RPO code Q8P), which were offered as the Stingray’s standard wheel design since the introduction of the mid-engine C8 Corvette for the 2020 model year. The five-open-spoke Carbon Flash-painted aluminum wheel with machined edge (RPO code Q8Q) is also still available, offering the same design as the Q8P wheel, but with a different finish.

UPDATE: the Q8P wheel has also been dropped for the 2026 model year.

Beyond the updated wheels, the 2026 Corvette also features a major interior overhaul, with all C8 variants equipped with a new three-screen infotainment system combining a 12.7-inch central touchscreen, a 14-inch digital instrument cluster, and an auxiliary 6.6-inch touchscreen positioned to the left of the steering wheel. Interior customization has expanded as well, with customers offered a new asymmetrical Jet Black and Adrenaline Red colorway. Further options include Sky Cool and Medium Ash Gray with Habanero accents, Santorini Blue, Very Dark Atmosphere, and a premium Ultimate Suede finish.

Performance-wise, the C8 now offers PTM Pro mode, which allows full deactivation of stability and traction control systems for track use. The C8 ZR1 is available with the ZTK Brake package, which includes carbon ceramic rotors and 10-piston front, six-piston rear calipers.

Rounding out the 2026 updates are minor exterior refinements, including new body-color rocker panels, an asymmetrical racing stripe option, and new paint finishes (Roswell Green Metallic and Blade Silver Metallic). All 2026 Corvette models continue to ride on the GM Y2 platform, with vehicle production takes place at the GM Bowling Green Assembly Plant.

  1. I never thought I would give up my 2021, but I do like the new design, maybe a new interior design Eray might happen. Everything this car does is awesome. Huge fan.

  2. 1. Nothing beats a story about a vehicle’s wheels that fails to show the WHEELS in the teaser pic.

    2. The new wheel design looks to be even HARDER to clean than any of the prior C8 wheels.

    Speaking of wheel cleaning:
It is time to stop paying outrageous prices for spray foam “wheel cleaner” and instead use a spray foam “scrubbing bubbles” type of bath-shower cleaner. It works just as well, at half the price. And is even formulated to be gentle on all types of metal plumbing finishes.

  4. The corvette is an amazing vehicle. Why can’t GM make more vehicles that excel in their respective classes as the corvette does.

    1. GM basically owns the fullsize SUV market, they are #1 in fullsize truck sales and are closing in on the tacoma in the midsize market, they are #1 in sales in the compact CUV segment with the trax being a huge sales success, and the CT4/5 are some of the best sports sedans ever made. Could they do things like make a chevy version of the CT4/5 and bring back the camaro and make it so the 6.2s stop blowing up, yes, but overall they are doing really well

  6. Looking toward a new 2026. I do hope they have corrected the triangular shaped rear view mirror that creates a blind spot beside the left rear wheel. Styling be damned, make the mirror rectangular so it’s 100%useful.

  7. They’re so similar to the previous wheels that you guys can’t see the difference.
