2026 Chevy Equinox EV To Offer New Midnight Package

The 2026 Chevy Equinox EV debuts the all-electric crossover’s third model year, bringing with it a few small updates and changes. Among these is a new aesthetic option designed to give the compact electric crossover a more subtle, stealthy look.

The new styling upgrade is called the Midnight Package, and it’s tagged with RPO code WBL and is available exclusively for the LT1 trim level.

The 2026 Chevy Equinox EV will offer a new Midnight Package.

The new Midnight Package equips the Equinox EV with a variety of blacked-out exterior elements, including black badges and new wheels. Check out the full list of package contents below (relevant RPO codes listed in parentheses):

  • Black emblems for Bowtie, wheel caps, nameplate and AWD badge (if equipped)
  • Black painted outside mirror caps (DP6)
  • Black (GBA) mid fascia
  • Black painted aluminum wheels (Q84)

It’s also worth noting that this package is an LPO-level option, which means it is installed at the dealer, rather than at the factory when the vehicle is initially produced.

Images and pricing information for the new 2026 Chevy Equinox EV Midnight Package are still forthcoming.

To note, the Midnight Package is different from the Blackout Package (RPO code PCH), the latter of which features black Bowtie emblems (RPO code SFZ), black nameplates (RPO code RIK), a black-painted rear spoiler (RPO code 5ZU), and black mirror caps (RPO code S4X, excluded when Black paint is ordered). The Blackout Package is priced at $350 when paired with Black paint and $575 when paired with an other exterior color. Like the Midnight Package, the Blackout Package is also an LPO-level option.

Production of the 2026 Chevy Equinox EV will begin on August 4th, 2025, slightly behind schedule compared to the original production start date of July 14th start. The 2026 Chevy Equinox EV will again be built at the GM Ramos Arizpe plant in Mexico, with the GM BEV3 platform providing the bones.

  1. That’s all new option for 2026, no Bose audio system, no Android and Apple car play possibility connection, no new interior and no possibility of 19inch wheel on the Commodity 2 package….
