2026 Chevy Colorado To Offer These Two New Wheel Choices

The 2026 Chevy Colorado serves as the fourth model year for the third-generation midsize pickup, debuting only a few small changes compared to the preceding 2025 model year. Among the updates will be two new wheel options. Now, GM Authority is taking a closer look at the pair of new wheels on offer for the 2026 Chevy Colorado.

Both of the new wheel options are 20 inches in diameter, and will be offered on specific 2026 Chevy Colorado trim levels.

They include the 20-inch High Gloss Black aluminum wheel (RPO code NZM), which will be offered on Trail Boss models, and the 20-inch painted aluminum wheel with machined face and Grazen painted pockets (RPO code NZN), which will be offered in Z71 models.

For now, it’s unclear if these new wheels will replace wheel options offered previously for the 2025 Chevy Colorado, or if they will simply be added to the list of available wheel options. Official pricing information is also currently unavailable. To note, there are already 14 wheel choices available for the 2025 Colorado – check out our previous coverage for more information.

Production of the 2026 Chevy Colorado is currently scheduled to kick off at the GM Wentzville plant in Missouri on July 7th, 2025, which is the same day that production of the 2025 Colorado is scheduled to end.

Under the hood, the Chevy Colorado features the turbocharged 2.7L I4 L3B gasoline engine, which carries the TurboMax branding and is rated at 310 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque. The updated 31XX-2 platform provides the underpinnings. The turbocharged 2.7L I4 L2R gasoline engine, which was rated at 237 horsepower and 259 pound-feet of torque, was dropped for the 2025 model year. The GM eight-speed automatic transmission serves as the sole transmission option, with both rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive available to put the power to the ground.

  1. They need to redesign all of wheels on the current Colorado. They are all lackluster and boring

  5. Why can’t we have the *Rally Wheels from the ’97 model year again, a nice steel wheel, chromed center cap, and 15″ or 16″ chrome trim rings. Had those on my ’97 GMC 3500 series pickup.

  6. If they don’t offer a base 2 wd model at a reasonable price they are going to miss the boat that is already in the water……… I don’t need a off-road vehicle, don’t need a high end audio system and while I would like to have some power……forget about being the fastest out there, electrics will eat your lunch. I’m retired and todays vehicle have options that cost more than I paid for new vehicles.

  7. The 23 and 24 Z71 20” wheels by far looked much better than any other wheel.
For some reason they took the same style wheel in 2025 and only made it in black.
