2026 Cadillac Optiq-V Gets Two Exclusive Paint Colors

Cadillac is expanding its performance EV lineup with the debut of the 2026 Optiq-V, offering some serious speed and a more aggressive look in a compact electric crossover wrapper. As it turns out, the Cadillac Optiq-V presents several notable styling differences compared to the standard Optiq. Now, GM Authority is taking a closer look at the exclusive paint options on offer for the new 2026 Cadillac Optiq-V.

The 2026 Optiq-V will offer two distinctive hues that won’t be available for the non-V-Series Optiq, including (relevant paint codes listed in parentheses):

  • Magnus Metal Frost (GBL)
  • Deep Ocean Tintcoat (G3Y)

Notably, Deep Ocean Tintcoat is a completely new paint color in the Cadillac lineup, and is currently unavailable for any other model. Although official pricing is still forthcoming, the tintcoat finish suggests it will be priced similar to Radiant Red Tintcoat, which is listed at $1,225. Magnus Metal Frost is available elsewhere in the Cadillac portfolio, priced at $5,925.

The two new exclusives paint colors are part of the broader Optiq-V color palette, which also includes:

  • Argent Silver Metallic (GXD)
  • Black Raven (GBA)
  • Monarch Orange (GAG)
  • Nimbus Metallic (G7X)
  • Polar White Tricoat (G4J)
  • Radiant Red Tintcoat (GNT)

Each paint option is also available with a contrasting Black roof. Meanwhile, the non-V-Series Optiq offers two colors that the Optiq-V does not, specifically Celestial Metallic (paint code GJY) and Coastal Blue Metallic (paint code GJV).

Further styling differences for the Optiq-V include a unique V-pattern mesh grille, high-gloss front splitter, rocker extensions, and body-colored lower trim. The Optiq-V also wears satin graphite 21-inch wheels and V-Series badging.

As for the specs, the Optiq-V packs dual electric motors generating a combined 519 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque. With Velocity Max mode engaged, the crossover can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds. Power is drawn from an 85 kWh battery pack, delivering an estimated 275 miles of range on a full charge.

The Optiq-V is also the first GM product equipped with a factory-installed North American Charging Standard (NACS) port, providing improved access to Tesla’s Supercharger network and other high-speed public charging options. Additional headline features include Brembo front performance brakes and the GM Super Cruise hands-free driver assist system.
