The Buick Enclave was completely overhauled for the 2025 model year, with the subsequent 2026 Buick Enclave introducing a few notable updates and changes. Among the updates is the expanded availability of a tech feature that adds both safety and convenience.
The Rear Camera Mirror (RPO DRZ) is exclusively optional on the top Avenir trim for 2025. Now, for the 2026 Buick Enclave, it’s optional on the two lower trims: Preferred and Sport Touring (ST). It’s bundled with the Power Package (WPG) that’s optional on Preferred and ST, while its contents are standard on Avenir.
Here’s everything that’s included in the Power Package for the 2026 Buick Enclave:
- Rear Camera Mirror (DRZ)
- Head-Up Display (UV6)
- Memory Settings (AAB)
- Universal Home Remote (UG1)
- 110-volt power outlet (KI6)
- 1-touch flat-folding second-row seats (A9U)
- 60/40 split power-folding third-row bench seat (AS8)
- Heated wiper park (CMO)
For 2025, the Super Cruise Package (WQ1) is available across all three trims. However, only the Super Cruise Package on the Avenir trim adds the rear camera mirror and its corresponding washer. Now, for 2026, the Super Cruise Package is identical across the model range. In addition to GM’s hands-free highway driving system, it also adds Enhanced Automatic Parking Assist (UKZ) and Driver Attention Assist (ULM).
Looking ahead, the start of regular production (SORP) of the 2026 Buick Enclave is set to kick off on July 14th, 2025. Dealers can now configure the 2026 Enclave online and save orders, as GM Authority covered previously. Notably, the 2026 GMC Acadia will also begin rolling off the line on July 14th. Both models will be produced side-by-side at the GM Lansing Delta Township plant, which is located in Michigan.
Under the hood, the 2026 Buick Enclave will once again feature the turbocharged 2.5L I4 LK0 gasoline engine, the same powerplant that motivates the current 2025-model-year crossover. Output is rated at 328 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and 326 pound-feet of torque at 3,500 rpm, all of which is routed through the GM eight-speed automatic transmission. Drivers will be able to select either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive with regard to drive type. The GM C1 platform provides the underpinnings.

The only way to buy a new Enclave with that 4cyc is to have a 100000 mile no deduct able warranty on it and I guess I will have to buy a used one with the v-6- because I own a 2019 Enclave and the MPG is better than the 4cyc
Huh, the rating and 3rd party reviews say otherwise. Where is your source on that incorrect comment?
Also, the 2.5 is based off the 2.7 in the trucks, which has been their most reliable motor and built like a diesel. In torture testing is was one of the hardest motors to kill historically per engineers who designed and built it. So no need for a longer warranty, you basically just made two false statements based on your pre-biased disdain for anything that doesn’t fit your narrative. Nice job…
Have you owned or driven one yet? I have a 2024 Chevrolet Traverse Z71 and heard the same comments and complaints about it having the 4cyl turbo and how much better the mileage was on the v6 (my previous vehicle was a 2020 GMC Acadia SLT AWD w/V6) and to be honest, besides the louder sounder at acceleration, I get the same mpg or better with my 4cyl. turbo and haven’t experienced any problems yet. I’ve had mine a year now, have 16,845 miles and still like my vehicle. The Buick, Chevy, and GMC all share the same engine.
Needs the diesel to be competitive.
