The automaker’s Ecuadorian subsidiary launched the 2025 Chevy Tracker RS, marking the first time the sporty version of the Bowtie brand’s subcompact crossover is offered in Ecuador. In fact, the 2025 Tracker RS is being launched as the vehicle’s new entry-level variant to broaden its appeal in the Ecuadorian market.

“At Chevrolet, we offer our customers vehicles that adapt to their lifestyle, with design and technology that make a difference,” said Chevrolet Product Manager in Ecuador, Juan Fernando Muñoz. “The Tracker Turbo RS redefines the compact SUV segment with a focus on performance, safety, and connectivity, further highlighting the sporty touch that Ecuadorians are so passionate about with this special Rally Sport edition,” he added.

Specifically, the 2025 Chevy Tracker RS arrives in Ecuador to complement the model lineup below the Premier trim level and offer customers a bolder styling option focused on a younger demographic. Like the sleeker Premier, the 2025 Tracker RS features the most advanced technology and safety equipment in its category in the local market and adds darkened finishes typical of the Rally Sport designation.

Mechanically, the 2025 Chevy Tracker RS maintains exactly the same powertrain as the Premier, consisting of a turbocharged 1.2L I3 engine that develops 133 horsepower and 190 Nm or 140 pound-feet of torque, coupled to a six-speed automatic transmission. The utility vehicle is only offered with a front-wheel drivetrain, focused on urban driving and high fuel efficiency.

The 2025 Chevy Tracker RS is now available for sale at authorized Chevrolet dealers in Ecuador, where it’s offered in a total of six body colors and carries a class-leading seven-year/150,000-km warranty. 2025 Tracker RS units for the Ecuadorian market are imported from the GM São Caetano do Sul plant in Brazil, where all RS variants for Latin America are manufactured. Pricing for the 2025 Tracker RS in Ecuador is as follows:

  • 2025 Tracker RS: $27,999 USD (official currency of the South American country)
