2025 Chevy Tahoe And Suburban Officially Launched In Chile

After the iconic full-size SUVs made their regional debut in Colombia last month, General Motors has just officially launched the 2025 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban in Chile.

The automaker’s Chilean subsidiary launched the refreshed 2025 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban in the South American country’s domestic market, strengthening the local utility lineup as the brand’s flagship SUVs. Orders are now open for both the 2025 Tahoe and 2025 Suburban in Chile, and deliveries will begin shortly to celebrate the Suburban’s 90th anniversary since its debut in 1935 as the world’s first SUV.

“The new Tahoe is presented as a superior alternative, distinguished by its robust engineering and refined driving experience. Meanwhile, the new Suburban takes the SUV experience to the next level thanks to its superior dimensions and adaptability,” said GM Chile Commercial Director, Patricio Gómez. “Chevrolet’s largest SUVs are ideal for those looking for more space without sacrificing performance, with maximum safety,” he added.

The 2025 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban are being launched in Chile with a single configuration corresponding to the Z71 trim level, including a bunch of off-road equipment as standard. As such, they offer a comprehensive suite of technology and safety features that make them benchmark models in their class, in addition to the advanced OnStar services that distinguish them from other large SUVs.

Mechanically, both the 2025 Chevy Tahoe and 2025 Chevy Suburban Z71 for the Chilean market are powered by the naturally aspirated 5.3L L84 V8 engine that develops 355 horsepower and 518 Nm or 382 pound-feet of torque, coupled exclusively to GM’s 10-speed automatic transmission. They include 4WD, a transfer case, and an adaptive air suspension.

The 2025 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban are now available to order at Chevrolet’s official dealer network in Chile, one of the few countries in South America where both North American utility vehicles are sold. The Bowtie brand’s flagship SUVs arrive in the country imported from the GM Arlington plant in Texas, the manufacturer’s only facility in the world where they are built. Here is pricing for both models in Chile:

  • 2025 Tahoe Z71: 71,990,000 pesos (about $76,950 USD at the current exchange rate)
  • 2025 Suburban Z71: 75,990,000 pesos ($81,200 USD)
