2025 Chevy Colorado Gets New Reef Blue Metallic Color: First Look

The 2025 Chevy Colorado represents the current-generation pickup’s third model year, introducing several changes and improvements such as the Midnight Edition, the WT Custom Package, new alloy wheel choices and three new paint colors.

Snowdrift Metallic, Reef Blue Metallic and Sunrise Orange have been added for the 2025 model year, replacing Nitro Yellow Metallic, Glacier Blue Metallic and Sand Dune Metallic.

Reef Blue Metallic is identified with color code GAL and touch-up paint number WA-225K. It’s part of a palette of eight colors available on the 2025 Chevy Colorado, including:

  • Black
  • Harvest Bronze Metallic
  • Radiant Red Tintcoat
  • Sterling Gray Metallic
  • Summit White
  • Reef Blue Metallic (new for 2025)
  • Snowdrift Metallic (new for 2025)
  • Sunrise Orange (new for 2025)

Available at no extra charge, the Reef Blue Metallic hue is available on the Trail Boss and ZR2 trim levels, but not the Work Truck (WT), LT or Z71. It’s offered in conjunction with two of three Colorado interior colorways, Jet Black and Jet Black / Artemis.

As a reminder, there are three interior colorways for the 2025 Chevy Colorado across its five trim levels, namely:

  • Jet Black
  • Jet Black / Adrenaline Red
  • Jet Black / Artemis

Other 2025 Chevy Colorado changes include more standard features for the Trail Boss, the Z71 and the ZR2 trim levels, along with the addition of a dealer-installed keyless entry keypad and a TurboMax badge for the ZR2’s hood. Base Colorado trim levels also dropped the turbocharged 2.7L I4 L2R engine. Check out the whole list of changes and updates on the 2025 Chevy Colorado.

Pricing starts at $40,095 including the destination freight charge that recently increased from $1,595 to $1,695. The 2025 Colorado configurator is live on Chevy’s website.

The 2025 Chevy Colorado rides on the GMT31XX platform and is equipped with the TurboMax turbocharged 2.7L I4 L3B engine that develops 310 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque, managed by the GM eight-speed automatic transmission. Production takes place at the GM Wentzville plant in Missouri.
