The 2025 Chevy Blazer EV offers a combination of practicality and all-electric innovation, with a suite of seven distinct drive modes on deck to tailor the performance and driving dynamics to better suit a wide range of conditions and driver preferences. Each mode adjusts parameters such as throttle response, steering, braking feel, and sound simulation. Now, GM Authority is serving up a breakdown of what each 2025 Chevy Blazer EV drive mode is bringing to the table.
To note, drive mode availability may depend on the trim level, region, and optional features. Activating each drive mode is as simple as opening the drive mode app on the infotainment home screen.
Normal Mode
Designed for everyday driving, Normal Mode balances efficiency and comfort. It provides a smooth throttle response, moderate steering feedback, and a subdued simulated motor sound. This mode prioritizes a calm, predictable experience suitable for daily commutes.
Sport Mode
Sport Mode sharpens the vehicle’s responses for a more dynamic drive. Acceleration becomes more immediate, steering firms up for better feedback, and the simulated motor sound is more aggressive. This mode is ideal for those who prefer a spirited drive with added responsiveness.
Snow/Ice Mode
Engineered for slippery conditions, Snow/Ice Mode softens throttle response to prevent wheel spin and offers more conservative power delivery. It’s calibrated to enhance traction and stability on snowy or icy roads, helping to maintain control in low-grip situations.
My Mode
My Mode is a customizable setting allowing the driver to fine-tune specific aspects of the vehicle. Users can mix and match preferences for acceleration feel, braking response, steering input, and motor sound to create a personalized drive setup. This mode supports a balance between comfort and sportiness depending on user configuration.
Z Mode (SS Trim Only)
Exclusive to the high-performance SS trim, Z Mode is a customizable performance-oriented setting that allows drivers to configure aggressive settings for acceleration, braking, steering, and motor sound.
Competitive Mode (SS Trim Only)
Intended for track-focused performance, Competitive Mode disables certain driver aids such as traction control to provide a more direct, unfiltered connection between the driver and the vehicle. It’s ideal for advanced users looking to explore the Blazer EV’s performance limits.
Wide Open Watts (WOW) Mode (SS Trim Only)
WOW Mode unleashes the full performance potential of the Blazer EV SS. It delivers maximum acceleration using the full capabilities of the dual-motor AWD system, producing up to 615 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque.
As a reminder, the 2025 Chevy Blazer EV rides on the GM BEV3 platform and is produced at the GM Ramos Arizpe plant in Mexico.
Comments
they need to add WTF mode, Wow That’s Fast. Get it ? hohohohoho I slay myself sometimes! It engages 1450 HP and 1475 lb/ft of Torque, enabling the driver to melt all four tires into the pavement at the end of a quarter mile run!
Anyone know how the brake mode impacts from normal to sport when adjusted under custom? And does it in any way affect regen by allow more coasting ability alla less regen or does it only affect the foot pedal braking and no impact on regen?
I don’t think it affects regen. Theres a separate standalone button on the infotainment screen to adjust regen/costing. I leave the braking feel on normal.
