The Crystal White Tricoat (color code G1W) exterior paint color is no longer available to order on the 2025 Cadillac Optiq and will not be offered for the rest of the model year, according to the latest information.
The final 2025 Cadillac Optiq units produced with the Crystal White color will be built out during the week of May 26th, 2025, GM Authority has learned.
Those buyers who want a 2025 Cadillac Optiq in the Crystal White Tricoat paint will need to locate a new vehicle currently in stock at a dealership in order to buy it. Crystal White was one of the eight paint colors available on the 2025 Optiq at launch. It was offered on all trim levels – Luxury 1, Luxury 2, Sport 1 and Sport 2 – for an extra $1,225, and could be combined with the $600 Black-painted roof (color code 41T).
It is likely that Crystal White will be replaced on future Optiq model years by Vibrant White Tricoat (color code G4J), a new white hue that’s gradually being introduced on 2026 model-year Cadillacs. The same color under different brand names is being introduced for the other General Motors core brands. The 2025 Cadillac XT5 crossover has also dropped Crystal White Tricoat, among others.
Pricing for the 2025 Cadillac Optiq starts at $54,390 for the Luxury 1 trim and ranges up to $57,090 starting MSRP for the Sport 2 trim level. These prices include a $1,495 destination freight charge. GM Authority has already published guides to the interior colors and the various wheel style options featured on the all-electric crossover.
Motivation for the vehicle comes from two GM drive motors and an 85 kW battery pack, providing an all-wheel drivetrain. The paired motors, one on the front axle and one on the rear axle, crank out a total of 300 horsepower and 354 pound-feet of torque.
The range of the 2025 Cadillac Optiq is estimated by The General to be 300 miles, with one-pedal driving featured and a lineup of drive modes including Tour, Sport, Snow/Ice and the programmable My Mode.
Some tech items include Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Zone Steering Assist, Enhanced Automatic Parking and Forward Collision Alert.
The 2025 Optiq rides on the widely used GM BEV3 platform. The GM Ramos Arizpe plant in Mexico is the facility that produces the EV crossover.
