Lifted 6×6 Chevy C70 Hauls Chevy Blazer With Trophy Truck Style

Back in the day, the Chevy C70 medium-duty truck lineup was the go-to choice for dump trucks, tow rigs, and flatbeds. Fast forward a few decades, and these old-school rigs are having something of a renaissance as enthusiasts upgrade with modern components, creating a custom take on the C70’s blue-collar roots. Now, we’re checking out exactly that with the following rendering, which matches the Chevy C70 with lifted trophy truck style and a 6×6 drivetrain.

Custom Chevy C70 rendering.

Coming to us from automotive artist Timothy Adry Emmanuel (@adry53customs), the rendering images are based on a 1979 C70 and include a Chevy Blazer crossover on the bed. The result is an eye-raising blend of GM-style iron and off-roader punch.

The first thing to catch your eye should be the stance, with this 6×6 Chevy C70 riding high on some custom long-travel suspension pieces. Bright red control arms and coilovers add a splash of colorful contrast against the truck’s matte black bodywork. The front fascia features a modernized take on the classic square-body look, complete with LED halo headlights, cube light pods, and a glowing Chevy bowtie emblem.

Mounted above the cab is a full amber light bar flanked by additional LED pods. A set of six mud-slinging tires roll underneath, while on top of the bed, we spot a modern crossover, namely a lifted Chevy Blazer outfitted to match the off-road bomber that’s carrying it.

The Blazer itself mirrors the rugged aesthetic of the C70 hauler with oversized off-road tires, custom beadlock wheels, lifted suspension, and subtle exterior tweaks like LED lighting upgrades.

Viewed from behind, the tandem rear axle setup is even more dramatic, with massive suspension articulation and reinforced undercarriage components clearly visible. While it’s obviously just a fantasy rig, the spirit of digital hot rodding is palpable.

  1. Now THAT’S a redneck-mobile! But the Blazer looks ridiculous.
