Here Are The 2025 Chevy Tahoe And Suburban Wheel Constraints For May 2025

The 2025 Chevy Tahoe and 2025 Chevy Suburban usher in a mid-cycle refresh complete with a long list of changes. Among the highlights are new exterior styling, a totally overhauled cabin, and several new tech features as well. Naturally, the 2025 Tahoe and Suburban also offer a wealth of different options when it comes to wheel design. That said, there are three wheel options that are currently constrained. Now, GM Authority is providing a rundown of the 2025 Chevy Tahoe and 2025 Chevy Suburban wheel constraints for the month of May, 2025.

There are currently three specific wheel options that are unavailable to order for the 2025 Chevy Tahoe and 2025 Chevy Suburban. These include (relevant RPO codes listed in parentheses):

  • The 22-inch multi-spoke Gloss Black wheels (RPO code SRV)
  • The 24-inch Black wheels (RPO code 5FG)
  • The 24-inch Bright Chrome PVD wheels (RPO code 5FF)

To note, the 24-inch Bright Chrome PVD wheels (RPO code 5FF) are currently still available to order on High Country trims.

Meanwhile, the 22-inch multi-spoke Gloss Black wheels (RPO code SRV) are normally available for all trim levels except the off-road-oriented Z71. The 24-inch Black wheels (RPO code 5FG) are normally available for RST and High Country trims, while the 24-inch Bright Chrome PVD wheels (RPO code 5FF) are also normally available for RST and High Country trims.

Of course, this isn’t the first time in which the 2025 Chevy Tahoe and 2025 Chevy Suburban have faced wheel constraints. In fact, both SUVs offered limited availability for the 5FF and 5FG wheels as recently as last year, as GM Authority reported in November. Several other wheel options are also out for the rest of the 2025 model year.

Meanwhile, in March, both SUVs offered limited availability for the 22-inch Black wheels with selective machining (RPO code SRL). The good news is that the SRL wheels are once again available to order as of May, 2025.

As for what’s under the skin, both the 2025 Tahoe and Suburban continue to ride on the GM T1 platform, with assembly taking place at the GM Arlington plant in Texas. Powertrain options include the naturally aspirated 5.3L V8 L84 gasoline engine, the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine, and the new 3.0L I6 LZ0 turbodiesel Duramax.
