The 2025 GMC Canyon – despite being the third model year of the truck’s third generation – ushers in multiple updates, including the retirement of three paint colors and introduction of three new paints to replace them. While the GMC Canyon interior colors are largely the same, availability has been altered.
Significantly, the previously available  GMC Canyon AT4X has now been transformed into an optional package, shaking up the lineup of GMC Canyon interior colorways, with the six choices on offer visible below:
Elevation
AT4
Denali
Each of the three remaining trim levels, including the Elevation, AT4 and Denali trims, has a standard 2025 GMC Canyon interior colorway associated with it that it does not share with the other trims.
Additionally, there are three optional GMC Canyon interior colorways that are included with and only available as part of three different package options. One of these is offered on the Elevation and two on the AT4 trim, while the range-topping Denali has no alternate colorways on offer. The details are charted below:

- Included and only available with (XEW) AT4X Package
Besides the AT4X Package (RPO code XEW) with its special 2025 GMC Canyon interior colorway, the 2025 model year also gets a new package in the form of the Canyon Nightfall Edition Package (RPO code XNF) – though this does not include a package-specific GMC Canyon interior. Changes to the truck’s wheels and tires, plus the addition of an optional snorkel and optional acoustic laminated windshield to the AT4 (the latter standard on the Denali) also put in an appearance for 2025.
Including a recent destination freight charge increase from $1,595 to $1,695, pricing for the mid-size pickup starts at $40,095 for the Elevation with rear-wheel drive and increases to the Denali’s $53,695 starting MSRP. The configurator o GMC’s website, live since late 2024, is available for builds.
The GMC Canyon continues to cradle a single powerplant option beneath the hood, specifically the 2.7L I4 L3B gasoline TurboMax engine rated at 310 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque. The GM eight-speed automatic transmission sends power to the pavement. Both 2WD and 4WD drivetrains are on offer.
The updated 31XX-2 platform underpins the 2025 GMC Canyon pickup. Production of the model is currently under way at the GM Wentzville plant in Missouri.

Choices. black, black….black and, ummmm. Oh yea, “black again.” The white trim in the AT4X was enough to move me over to the ZR2. So happy I did.
Henry Ford would be so proud.
Boring, so boring. The seats are always black, the steering wheel is always black. 90% of the interior is always black no matter what model you choose. It would make me feel like I was driving around in a coal mine all the time. But if black is your interior color of choice, you have found your truck brand.
Please, have a white/off white seating option in the 2027 (slt) lineup.
Black, black….black, black, and black…..then black again. Let’s be honest. They’re all black although some add accent colors.
Truly different interior colors involve blue seats, blue carpets, a blue dash and steering wheel then everything burgundy or all brown or tan or gray.
Why can’t GM give us some decent colors.. Ford can Ranger and Maverick, Honda can even Hyundai
OMG Come On GM. My God, get some lighter colors and srep up to the plate and get up to to 21st century. Not everyone wants black all the time. I have been a GM man for 70 years. I am reluctantly now looking at a Toyota because of colors outside and in. Continue with all black interiors and I am gone as a customer. Get your act together.
