Hercules Launches New TIS RT1 All-Terrain Tire, Fits Chevy Silverado And GMC Sierra

Hercules Tires has introduced its latest off-roading rubber with the debut of the new TIS RT1. The TIS RT1 is framed as a hybrid all-terrain compound that delivers both trail toughness and on-road comfort. Sizing for the new TIS RT1 fits a range of SUV and pickup truck models, including the Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra.

The TIS RT1 is the result of Hercules’ ongoing collaboration with TIS Offroad, marking their third joint tire project. The hybrid tire is specifically designed for adventure enthusiasts, and is backed by a 55,000-mile warranty.

Key features of the new TIS RT1 include a hybrid tread design to balance mud-ready traction with street-friendly comfort thanks to reduced vibration and sound during highway driving. The tire also incorporates reinforced dual buttress sidewalls for enhanced off-road durability and visual appeal, plus self-cleaning grooves for fast mud evacuation.

“We designed this tire for drivers who demand both style and capability, whether they’re pushing limits off-road or turning heads on the street,” said TIS President Myles Kovacs. “Partnering with Hercules Tires allows us to bring an aggressive, high-performance, rugged terrain tire to the market that complements our off-road wheel lineup perfectly.”

The new TIS RT1 will be available in 41 sizes ranging covering 16-inch to 22-inch wheel diameters. That includes sizing to replace all of the Chevy Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 OEM all-terrain tires, as well as all Chevy Silverado HD and GMC Sierra HD OEM all-terrain tires (except QMG, XGD, and 3500 series DRW tires for HD models).
