Hennessey Performance Engineering is back at it with a new supercharger upgrade for GM’s full-size SUVs, this time with a boost for the refreshed 2025 Chevy Tahoe and 2025 Chevy Suburban via the latest H600 package.
The new H600 package marks the launch of a new collaboration between Hennessey and GM, with customers now given the opportunity to purchase the high-powered utility models directly through their local authorized dealer.
Obviously, the star of the show is the new blower sitting on top of the factory 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine. Properly fitted, the H600 package ups output to 625 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and 633 pound-feet of torque at 4,200 rpm, a bump of more than 200 horsepower and 170 pound-feet over the Chevy Tahoe and Suburban’s factory ratings of 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque.
In addition to a high-performance supercharger system, the package also throws in an upgraded air induction system and exhaust system, plus Hennessey’s proprietary engine tuning.
The launch marks the first time in which Hennessey-modified vehicles are available for purchase directly through authorized Chevrolet dealerships. Buyers can finance the H600 Chevy Tahoe or Suburban using GM’s standard finance offerings, as well as receive coverage under both GM’s and Hennessey’s warranties. To note, the H600 package includes a three-year / 36,000-mile warranty, and is professionally installed and dyno-tested before delivery.
Beyond the engine upgrades, the H600 package also includes a few chassis and styling modifications, such as a suspension lowering kit that drops the ride height by 2.5 inches for a more aggressive stance. Six-piston Brembo front brakes and Firestone Firehawk Pursuit tires add braking and grip. Aesthetically, the H600 features 24-inch gloss black performance wheels and Hennessey badging throughout the exterior and interior.
Production of the H600 package is limited to just 100 units for the 2025 model year.
