GM Middle East has just announced its partial sales results for the first quarter of 2025, reporting solid year-over-year growth across the region.
The automaker’s GM Middle East subsidiary had one of its best sales results in recent years in Q1 2025, recording a 26-percent increase in the first three months of the calendar year thanks to strong regional demand for the company’s portfolio of pickups and full-size SUVs. In fact, all vehicles in both Chevrolet, GMC, and Cadillac segments saw increased sales during that period.
“From full-size SUVs to capable trucks, our brands are aligned with what customers in the region value most – power, innovation, and presence on the road,” said GM Africa & Middle East President and Managing Director, Jack Uppal. “Catering to our loyal customers and enticing future owners, our Q1 performance encapsulates the innovation and unwavering commitment to customers that GM upholds. With this fantastic start, we are greatly looking forward to driving more success through the rest of 2025,” he added.
GM Middle East does not typically release its sales numbers. However, this represents one of the exceptions the company has made to highlight the commercial success of its full-size vehicle lineup in the region’s countries, where they have consistently enjoyed strong acceptance. As such, the subsidiary did not share sales volume figures, either overall or for any specific model, limiting itself to announcing percentage growth.
In this regard, the manufacturer had a promising start to the year in the Middle East, particularly thanks to its full-size SUV lineup, with every model refreshed in the last six months, including the Chevy Tahoe, Chevy Suburban, GMC Yukon and Cadillac Escalade. GM Middle East’s larger utilities are some of the most popular models in the region and together, they’re up a significant 55 percent.
Furthermore, GM Middle East continues to lead the highly popular full-size pickup segment with the Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra, which have just received special editions in the region called the Silverado Chafar Edition and the Sierra JIMS Edition. With these variants, the company hopes to further improve its commercial performance and plans to accelerate its strategy this year with a diversified portfolio for each of the customer profiles in the region.

Kind of a worthless article without the presence of any real sales figures. 26 % of what? Lots of self proclaimed greatness.
