About Chevrolet Tahoe

Late last year, GM unveiled the refreshed 2025 Chevy Tahoe, showcasing new styling inside and out, a revised diesel engine option, suspension improvements, and new tech features.

The new 3.0L I6 LZ0 turbodiesel Duramax engine delivers more power and torque than the outgoing 3.0L I6 LM2 turbodiesel. Design changes to the 2025 model finally make that powerplant available on the Z71 trim level for the first time, which is incidentally the most popular trim for the full-size SUV.

Also, updated tech features for the 2025 Tahoe include new trailering assists and expanded availability of the vaunted GM Super Cruise semi-autonomous driver assistance feature. The updated Tahoe also gets nine additional wheel combinations, including 24-inch wheel options.

Furthermore, the 2025 Tahoe gets updated engine availability and keeps the RST Performance Edition package. GM Authority compares the 2025 Tahoe RST vs. the 2024 Tahoe RST.

Pricing for the 2025 Tahoe shows most trim levels being several thousand dollars more expensive than the preceding 2024 model year. Check out full pricing and options. Also, see the new GM Authority pricing comparison showing how engine upgrades are costly for the 2025 Tahoe.

Recently, most Chevy models were hit with a destination freight charge increase, pushing the Tahoe’s to $2,195, up $200.

Production of the 2026 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban is currently scheduled for September 8th.
