About Chevrolet Blazer
The 2025 Chevy Blazer arrives with only a handful of small changes and updates compared to the preceding 2024 model year, including the loss of these three paint colors. Here are all the 2025 Blazer paint colors, the interior coloways, the available wheels, and five things that are new and different.
For 2025, GM’s only remaining ICE-based midsize crossover continues to offer two engine options, namely the turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine, rated at 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, and the naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 LGX gasoline engine, rated at 308 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque. Both engines are mated to the GM nine-speed automatic transmission, while front-wheel drive is standard and all-wheel drive is optional. Maximum towing capacity is 4,500 pounds with the V6 engine and the Trailering Equipment Package.
Here are 2025 Blazer drive modes explained.
Pricing uncovered for the 2025 Blazer shows it unchanged from the 2024 model year on each of the four trim levels, namely 2LT, 3LT, RS, and Premier. Here is 2025 Blazer pricing with options and packages.
The 2025 Blazer received a slight price increase in March, up $200 across the board, as well as a $100 destination freight charge increase.
Last month, most Chevy models were hit with a DFC increase, with the Blazer up another $100 to $1,495.
Notably, the internal combustion midsize GM SUV is nearing extinction, with the automaker initially planning on dropping the ICE-powered Chevy Blazer after the 2025 model year as it focuses on the all-electric Chevy Blazer EV. But The General just changed plans, and so there will be an ICE 2026 Blazer after all.

Comments
I’m trying to understand why Chevy sells both the Blazer and the Traverse. They’re almost the same size.
The Traverse is about 13 inches longer, it’s wider and taller as well, and can seat 7 or 8 passengers. These vehicles are not similar.
