The GM Authority Take
April represented the biggest drop experienced by Chevrolet Brazil thus far during the 2025 calendar year, both in terms of sales volume and rate of change (percentage). The results also represent Chevy’s third consecutive decline in the Brazilian market.
In April, the vast majority of models offered by Chevrolet in Brazil saw substantial double- and triple-digit declines. These were led by the Chevy Onix, which suffered the most significant drop of all models listed here. The subcompact car lost nearly 6,500 deliveries on a year-over-year basis, representing the largest loss for the Onix in many months. The poor performance of the brand’s best-selling model reflects the difficulties Chevrolet is experiencing in selling a vehicle that hasn’t received any significant updates in over five years.
Additionally, the Chevy Tracker also suffered a significant drop in volume, contributing to the poor performance. Much like the Onix, the Tracker has also been sold in the exact same configuration for over five years without any major tweaks, making it uncompetitive against more modern rivals. Only three nameplates – the Silverado, Corvette and S10 – managed to finish the month in the green. The first two are niche products that sell in low volumes, while the Chevy S10 made the most significant impact to the bottom line.

Comment
E a teimosia continua. Prefere perder mercado do que reparar os motores 1.0 e 1.0 turbo. Mentalidade estúpida.
