Performance enthusiasts looking to elevate their V8-powered Chevy Tahoe now have a few potent new options thanks to Callaway Cars’ latest supercharger packages. The specialty vehicle manufacturer is now offering its SC520 and SC602 supercharged upgrade packages for the refreshed 2025 Chevy Tahoe, significantly boosting performance without compromising drivability or emissions compliance.
Available for the fifth-generation Tahoe (2021 through 2025 model years), the Callaway SC520 package is tailored specifically for units equipped with the 5.3L V8 L84 engine, while the SC602 package is designed for models featuring the 6.2L V8 L87. Both upgrades incorporate Callaway’s GenThree TVS R2650 supercharger and the brand’s proprietary TripleCooled intercooler system. The setup minimizes heat soak, ensuring consistent performance even during demanding driving conditions.
Despite the substantial performance increase, fuel economy remains largely unaffected. This is achieved through the supercharger’s internal bypass system, which reduces parasitic drag during low-load driving scenarios. Additional performance components include a high-flow intake, a low-restriction stainless steel exhaust system with quad rounded tips, and custom engine management programming, all compliant with 50-state emissions regulations.
The SC520 package boosts the 5.3L V8’s output to 520 horsepower and 490 pound-feet of torque, a gain of 165 horsepower and 107 pound-feet over stock. Meanwhile, the SC602 lifts the 6.2L V8 to 602 horsepower and 560 pound-feet of torque, an increase of 182 horsepower and 100 pound-feet.
Callaway also provides several aesthetic enhancements. Visual upgrades include carbon fiber engine bay components, branded aluminum door sills, chrome exterior badging, and a dash-mounted identification plaque. Buyers also get certification documents confirming the authenticity of the build.
Optional equipment extends the customization possibilities even further, with available custom wheels, black exhaust tips, anodized pedals, and blacked-out Callaway badging.
Interested buyers can learn more at the Callaway Cars website. New units are available to purchase with a new GM build order, with final assembly taking place in either Connecticut or California at a Callaway facility. New units are also available in stock at authorized Callaway dealers.

Explain to me why GM won’t just release an SS version of this from factory?
Has Callaway released pricing yet? Will customers be able to ship their Tahoe to them or do you have to order it thru GM and GM drop ships it to Callaway?
