Cadillac Optiq Spearheads The Brand’s EV Strategy In The Middle East

As GM Authority exclusively reported earlier this month, General Motors has just launched the 2025 Cadillac Optiq in the Middle East as the model that kicks off the brand’s EV strategy in the region.

The automaker’s luxury brand has officially confirmed that the 2025 Cadillac Optiq is arriving in the Middle East as its first all-electric vehicle to go on sale in the region, formally spearheading Cadillac’s EV strategy in Southwest Asian countries. The 2025 Optiq will be followed by the rest of the brand’s EV portfolio coming to the region.

“Representing a bold entry into Cadillac’s future, the Optiq reimagines what it means to drive luxury, offering expressive design, spirited performance, and intelligent technology built to stand out in the Middle East,” said Cadillac Middle East. “The Optiq marks the beginning of Cadillac’s electric journey in the region, leading a visionary portfolio that includes Lyriq, Vistiq, Celestiq, Escalade IQ, and Escalade IQL,” the brand added.

In particular, the 2025 Cadillac Optiq is already headed to a handful of Middle Eastern countries including the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Oman as the first and most affordable member of Cadillac’s all-electric vehicle family to land in those markets. According to the brand itself, the 2025 Optiq will boast the largest cargo space, best-in-class legroom, and largest display in the segment.

Additionally, the 2025 Cadillac Optiq also offers an outstanding driving experience and one of the longest ranges in its class, with a battery pack that delivers a total range of 492 kilometers or 306 miles on a single charge. The automaker claims the crossover exceeds the aerodynamic standards of many sedans, integrating sculptural elements like a vented rear spoiler and rear diffusers without compromising the Optiq’s striking design.

The all-new 2025 Cadillac Optiq is now available for sale at Cadillac dealerships in several Middle Eastern countries in a single Luxury 3 configuration, featuring the dual-motor AWD powertrain developing 300 horsepower and 451 Nm 333 pound-feet of torque. This variant also comes standard with the most comprehensive range of technology, comfort, and safety features available on the model.
