As part of Cadillac‘s ongoing expansion strategy in Europe, General Motors has just announced the opening of the all-new Cadillac City Stockholm Experience Center in Sweden.

The automaker’s luxury brand officially opened the all-new Cadillac City Stockholm Experience Center, Cadillac’s first permanent store and lifestyle location in Sweden. The new facility continues Cadillac’s expansion and growth plan in Europe, representing a key step in the brand’s strategy for the rollout of its business and new lineup of forward-thinking all-electric vehicles.

“Sweden is a leader in electrification and shares our commitment to a more sustainable future, making Stockholm the ideal location for our European debut,” said GM Europe President and Managing Director, Pere Brugal. “The new location offers a modern and welcoming space where visitors can experience Cadillac up close, discover vehicles, and immerse themselves in Cadillac’s unique heritage,” he added.

Notably, the all-new Cadillac City Stockholm debuted on May 28th alongside the launch of the all-new three-row 2026 Cadillac Vistiq in Europe and marks the first evolution of the brand’s flagship store concept in the region, becoming the first Cadillac City Experience Center located within a premium shopping mall on the continent. Indeed, all other Cadillac City locations are located in iconic, classic-style buildings in European cities.

Located alongside luxury and high-tech brands in the Mall of Scandinavia, the all-new Cadillac City Stockholm becomes the main meeting point between Cadillac and its customers in Sweden, combining art, music, and culture with the brand’s premium experience. In addition to the showroom where the brand’s EV vehicles will be displayed, the modern facility features a café, a lounge and event areas, as well as a service center.

The all-new Cadillac City Stockholm is now open to the public at Stjärntorget 2 in the Solna district of Stockholm, Sweden. Customers will be able to experience the brand’s latest vehicle lineup firsthand, which includes the Cadillac Lyriq, the Cadillac Optiq, and the all-new Cadillac Vistiq. It’s worth noting that the Stockholm store is the fifth Cadillac City in Europe, following locations in Zurich, Paris, Frankfurt and Hamburg.

  1. “General Motors has just announced the opening of the all-new Cadillac City Stockholm Syndrome Experience Center in Sweden”. FIFY.

LOLOL. What an ironic place to try and peddle electric cars. “Stockholm syndrome is a psychological phenomenon where a victim develops positive feelings and an emotional bond with their abuser”. Pretty much sums up the entire user experience for Electric Vehicles. “Be Iconic”? Replace that first ‘c’ with an ‘r’ and you nailed it Cadillac.

    1. EV sales dominate the Swedish vehicle market so this is a very smart move on their part. As someone who went from an XT5 to a Lyriq, I can assure you, EVs have PLENTY of upsides, and the downsides they have continue to diminish by the day as technology and charging infrastructure progresses.

        1. I can picture you humping a gas pump, and then taking the nozzle.

  2. “humping a gas pump, and then taking the nozzle” is still less gay than driving an EV.
