General Motors unveiled the 2026 GMC Hummer EV last week, showcasing a range of updates that enhance the rig’s performance and personalization opportunities. Among the standouts is the new King Crab off-roader mode, as well as the limited-run Carbon Fiber edition. The 2026 Hummer EV also offers three new interior color options, as highlighted right here.
The three new interior colors on offer for the 2026 GMC Hummer EV include:
- Velocity Ember
- Granite Drift
- Stealth Eclipse
To note, Velocity Ember is exclusive to the new Hummer EV Carbon Fiber Edition. Photos of the new Granite Drift interior colorway are currently unavailable.
For the moment, it remains unclear whether Granite Drift and Stealth Eclipse will be added to the existing interior colorway options, or serve as replacements for the Lunar Horizon (Jet Black/Light Grey) and Lunar Shadow (Jet Black/Taupe) interior colorways offered for the 2025 model year.
As covered previously, the 2026 GMC Hummer EV also offers several new exterior paint options, including (relevant paint codes listed in parentheses):
- Magnus Gray Matte (GBL)
- Coastal Dune (G42)
- Auburn Matte (GNR)
Interestingly, these exterior colors are not entirely new to the General Motors portfolio, and can also be found under different names across the Chevy and Cadillac lineups.
The 2026 Hummer EV also debuts a new Carbon Fiber Edition, the fastest production Hummer ever built. Capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.8 seconds in Pickup configuration, this special edition model is also equipped with a few notable aesthetic enhancements, such as the exclusive Magnus Gray Matte exterior paint, unique 22-inch carbon fiber black wheels, carbon fiber mirror caps, a black approach shield, black badging, and a black power tonneau cover for Pickup models.
As for utility, the 2026 GMC Hummer EV now offers bidirectional charging, allowing the vehicle to supply electricity to another EV or a home during a blackout. Enhanced Super Cruise with Hands-on Lane Change Assist (HOLCA) is also offered.
Underneath the skin, the 2026 GMC Hummer EV rides on the GM BT1 platform. Production is set to begin this July at the GM Factory Zero plant in Michigan.

I wish they would’ve made that 2wd entry level trim so those of us who can’t afford a $100k hummer can still get something pretty cool.
I think they incentivized the lease on the 2X truck for this reason. $700 a month for a $100k vehicle is really good….if that’s your thing of course. Plus, we know the values are plummeting on these, so do the two year lease and turn the thing in, not your problem in the future then.
Why such asinine color names? Absolutely ridiculous. Cheers!
Interesting and so predictable that they can offer more color choices on EV’s that ICE vehicles. But then this is expected from lower case gM
