General Motors has officially unveiled the 2026 Corvette, pulling the sheets on a major interior refresh highlighted by a new three-screen infotainment layout, new controls, new colorways, and more. The entirety of the 2026 Corvette lineup will offer the refreshed interior layout, including Stingray, E-Ray, Z06, and ZR1 variants. Production of the 2026 Corvette is currently expected to kick off on August 4th, 2025, per previous GM Authority coverage.
One of the big headlines is the debut of new three-screen infotainment layout, which includes a 12.7-inch center display, a 14-inch digital driver information center, and an auxiliary 6.6-inch touchscreen located to the left of the steering wheel, lending drivers a more immersive and high-tech experience. The center console has also been reworked to offer a more ergonomic layout, with HVAC controls relocated placed beneath the center display.
The redesigned drive mode selector is now a toggle switch, pairing with improved drive mode screen animations, while the wireless phone charging pad has been repositioned to the center console, rather than between the seats. A USB-C port has also been added on the passenger side for improved convenience, while ambient lighting and a Corvette-emblazoned cupholder insert enhance interior aesthetics. Select trim levels also feature real aluminum highlights.
Speaking of materials, the ZR1 now boasts a carbon fiber display hood as standard, while Z06 and E-Ray models offer the carbon display hood as optional. There’s also a new Performance App, included as standard across all 2026 Corvette models, that delivers live readouts on horsepower, G-forces, tire pressure, and more. All models also include an updated infotainment system with Google built-in, while Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are still supported. There’s also a newly available electrochromic roof that allows drivers to change the roof tint level on command.
On the custom options list, we find the debut of the Corvette’s first asymmetrical colorway in Jet Black and Adrenaline Red. Other interior colorway options include:
- Sky Cool & Medium Ash Gray with Habanero accents
- Santorini Blue
- Very Dark Atmosphere
- Ultimate Suede
On the performance side, the 2026 Corvette gains new track tools like PTM Pro mode, which disables stability control and traction control. Meanwhile, the ZR1-exclusive ZTK brake package adds carbon ceramic rotors and 10-piston front and six-piston rear calipers.
The 2026 Corvette also debuts a few new exterior updates, such as an asymmetrical exterior stripe and new body-color rocker panels. Blue brake calipers will be offered on ZR1, E-Ray, and Z06, and there are two new exterior paint finishes as well, specifically Roswell Green Metallic and Blade Silver Metallic.
All 2026 Corvette variants ride on the GM Y2 platform, while production takes place at the GM Bowling Green plant in Kentucky.

now we need Pumpkinhead to cancel the tariffs
good thing the Corvette made in Bowling Green KY is mostly USA parts . A Corvette for everyone!
Have you read the parts disclosure on the Window Sicker of a new Corvette? Only 40% US/Canadian content. Who knows what the US content is? Obviously below 40%.
Tremec transmission is made in Mexico. It’s also not an internal part so costs a lot more than a comparative hydromatic or even the engine. I have no idea where the rest is made as bowling green has facilities to make the carbon fiber body panels and the space frame. Engines are American made at Tonawanda or onsite. Seats made in Italy? That’s the only other item I can nail down as foreign made.
No, we need the other countries who put tariffs on U.S.-made goods to remove theirs. They started it.
100%–other countries have been screwing America since ol’ Cigar Bill was in office. But knuckleheads like “Real Truth” above loves paying for everything that they pushed overseas. Hopefully he sits home because some Asian took his job for $1.80 a month.
The people who down voted you are perfectly content paying more in taxes (Trump’s Tax), because it’s coming from their party and their dictator/cult leader.
Infact, raise it more so the down voters can be on their knees in joy as they pay whatever their leader dictates.
P.S.
Thanks Mary Barra for approving this update on America’s best and iconic car.
Ok Samantha. You go girl.
Guess you can’t afford one huh?? Stick to your prius. Obviously you have no clue where Corvettes are made. YOu libs just bring everything into the political realm–regardless the topic which you hve no defense.
Who wants my slightly used 2021? I am thinking to now wait about 3 years and hopefully transition to a 2026 from my 2021
The console area is opened up somewhat, but it still looks like very limited left elbow room for the passenger.
Glad to see the wall gone and the new screens. But feels like a miss on the driver selector being push/pull buttons like the last gen Envision.
Yeah, and it has push button start like a Camry! Blasphemy!
still an ugly car, the worst of corvettes row… best was in 1950ies till 1970ies an NO Sedan..– ok understand teenegers give you dislike child thumb
Don’t like it , by a VW. Sounds t\more to your likeness. Or you can’t aford a C8
I came to the comments to find this very reply!! LOL
People complain about anything, nothing is ever good with you people. It looks fine imo
That interior would look good in a new Camaro too! new V8 on alpha 2, sign me up! ill trade my 17 in.
Put a Ferrari badge on it and the hatters would cream their jeans! IT IS A GORGEOUS CAR!!!
MK.. are you feeling ok!
Wrong site dude.. Hyundai’s are us is waiting on a comment from you.
Real (NOT) the truth.. yeah, let’s cancel the tariffs and let the rest of the world take advantage of us again.. NOT!!!
I think it looks great ! Its more ergonomic than the last iteration and cleaner ! Great job GM!!
Opposite. The wall of buttons was easier to use without taking your eyes off the road. No you have to look at navigation buttons for a flat screen. Foolish change. Also I hate open cup holders!
And 3,2,1…. All carbon fiber parts on constraint for early 2026 models. LOL
Mode selector was so fancy and cool, it is a bummer it’s gone.
The C-8 is fabulous car and still after several years exciting to see. However, why do they make the video screen look like a total after thought that was screwed to the dash in the final moment of the design/build process. It even interrupts the flowing designs elements that are on top of the dash.
I liked the fighter jet wall look.
Bring back rear ROUND lights!
Glad I get my C8 next week (after 5months) —love the WALL !!!
I guess we’ll have to wait until the actual 2026 C8’s start to arrive at our local Chevy dealers to respectfully judge the new IP and console. But, for me and according to the pictures I’ve seen, I see one glaring mistake…I don’t approve of the open cup holders any more than I’d approve of a cigar lighter in my new C8. I don’t “drink and drive” with any form of liquid in my current Corvette nor have I ever desired to have two cup holders in any of my Corvette’s over the years. Maybe cause I don’t smoke and I don’t drink (never done either of these in any of my Corvette’s over years and I’m 77 years old) I don’t see the need for cup holders (or a cigar lighter either) and if you absolutely have to have cup holders, then for gosh sakes make them coverable, and uncoverable and of course give ’em easy access for those who absolutely have to some form of an open liquid container in their new C8 while driving! Why can’t we have it both ways…oh wait a second, the 2020 through 2025 C8 DOES have that ability!!! Oh and so now it’ll be more important to have two open cup holders versus two coverable cup holders. Hummm, me honestly thinks somebody screwed up here, I think we’ve gone backwards on this one interior chnage for 2026, just my opinion.
The rest of the new IP and interior trim parts look good, but again, I really don’t care if the “shotgun” rider in my C8 isn’t a “happy happy joy joy” passenger or can’t find “something to do” (sic) while I enjoy driving my C8 Stingray, maybe it’s sort of inconsiderate, but I’ve been in the “right bucket seat” of a C8 and I have found it very comfortable and I would not want to touch anything that would change or alter whatever settings the driver has chosen for himself! In otherwords keep your sausage fingers to yourself when I’m driving and if you’re bore to tears, then by all means I’ll be only too happy to drop you off or better yet, I guess I should lay down the ground rules first before riding in my C8. And here they are…”keep your hands to yourself while inside the moving vehicle, please sit down, get comfortable and buckle your shoulder belt and most importantly, please don’t touch anything, I’ve got everything set just the way I want it”, oh and enjoy the ride.
PS….sorry, the radio and the loud disruptive noises are a “No-No” too! I want to hear the sounds of the open road and that sweet 6.2 Liter, 495 horsepower V8 engine behind me as it goes up and down through the gears of that oh so cool 8 speed DCT. What a machine!
Now, offer a MANUAL TRANSMISSION again and I’ll reconsider!
As far as the manual transmission is concerned it probably would satisfy 90% of those who insist on it having a manual mode with a console shifter for the automatic. For the fanatical buyers there could be a clutch that allows the manual shift even though it would do nothing except press a button allowing the shift to take place. Personally, I like the console shifter rather than paddles. as it seems much more natural justifying my age. Like the dash. Hate the black wheels as if it looks like you could not afford hubcaps or whitewalls.
Thanks President Trump in a few months we won’t be getting screwed by the entire word. I have a 25 Z06 my wife misses the grab bar that our 15 has. I prefer the wall of switched over the new large screen tv that will be in the 26.
