2026 Chevy Trailblazer Officially Launches In South Korea

General Motors has just officially launched the 2026 Chevy Trailblazer in South Korea, exactly 12 months after introducing the previous model year of the crossover in the Asian country.

The 2026 Chevy Trailblazer is arriving in the South Korean market, which represents the birthplace and the only current manufacturing facility for the Bowtie brand’s subcompact utility vehicle worldwide. As such, the 2026 Trailblazer is being introduced in South Korea with some minor changes as the sixth model year of the crossover that stands out in its class with a rugged appearance and an all-wheel drivetrain.

“The Chevrolet Trailblazer has been steadily gaining popularity in both domestic and international markets with its design that combines a trendy sensibility with the strong presence of an SUV, as well as its practical packaging,” said GM Korea CMO and Head of Communications, Myongok Yoon. “The 2026 model now being introduced will be a good choice for customers who value style, with its more sophisticated colors and sensuous design,” she added.

In particular, the 2026 Chevy Trailblazer for the South Korean market introduces two new body colors and a special limited-edition Activ trim as its only new features for the model year. In fact, the 2026 Trailblazer maintains the exact same three-trim lineup and price ranges for the Premier, RS, and Activ trims with the addition of a second, range-topping variant featuring custom accents.

Specifically, the 2026 Chevy Trailblazer has reintroduced the popular light green Pistachio Khaki color that debuted in the 2024 model year as a limited-edition hue, while adding a new Mochaccino Beige color to the crossover lineup for the first time. Additionally, the 2026 Trailblazer adds an additional Activ FWD variant with a solid-color body and a more comprehensive equipment list. All trims retain the same existing powertrain.

The 2026 Chevy Trailblazer is now available for sale at authorized Chevrolet dealerships in South Korea, where series production of the new model year began on April 1st, as GM Authority exclusively reported. GM Korea said it has sold more than 570,000 units of the Trailblazer since its launch in 2021, establishing itself as a benchmark in its segment. Here is 2026 Trailblazer pricing in Korea:

  • 2026 Trailblazer Premier: 27,570,000 won (about $19,710 USD at the current exchange rate)
  • 2026 Trailblazer RS: 30,520,000 won ($21,820 USD)
  • 2026 Trailblazer Activ FWD: 32,500,000 won ($23,240 USD)
  • 2026 Trailblazer Activ AWD: 35,650,000 won ($25,490 USD)

    1. Probably not until at least ’28. Will be interesting to see what they do about the size conundrum vs. the Trax.
