2026 Chevy Silverado Gets Revised Realtree Package

The Realtree package is a great way to add some extra outdoorsy style to a Chevy truck. For the 2026 Chevy Silverado, this stylish package gets a slight revision. The old Realtree Special Editon package (RPO S08) is no longer available; it’s replaced by the LPO, dealer-installed Realtree Appearance Package (LPO PDJ). It has some slight differences, and it’s more widely available than the package it replaces.

The discontinued Realtree Special Edition was a $2,470 option package exclusive to a specific Silverado configuration: the Custom Trail Boss Crew Cab Short Bed 4WD with the 5.3L V8 L84 engine. This new appearance package for the 2026 Chevy Silverado can be had on the Custom or Custom Trail Boss trim and the buyer’s choice of the TurboMax turbocharged 2.7L I4 L3B, 5.3L V8 L84, or 3.0L I6 LZ0 turbodiesel Duramax. However, the Crew Cab Short Bed 4WD setup is still a requirement.

The new Realtree Appearance Package bundles the following features:

  • Realtree graphics on the hood, bedside, and tailgate (LPO, 5LL)
  • Realtree trim accents on interior door panels (LPO, S0T)
  • Dark Essentials Package (LPO, PDB)
  • Black Chrome exhaust tip (LPO, VTA)
  • Single exhaust (NB5)
  • Black 4-inch round assist steps (LPO, RVS)
  • All-weather floor mats (LPO, RIA) – Custom Only

The new Realtree Appearance Package and the old Realtree Special Edition are very similar option packages. Both add a little extra rugged style and capability to the truck with a special graphics package, blacked-out exterior accents, all-terrain tires, and all-weather floor mats. One big difference is that last year’s special edition also included a Chevytec spray-on bedliner (CGN).

Buyers who order this package for the Custom trim will also need to get the 20-inch High Gloss Black painted aluminum wheels (RD5) and 275/60R20 all-terrain tires (QAE) as well as either Summit White (GAZ), White Sands (G42) or Black (GBA) paint. On the Custom Trail Boss, the Realtree Appearance Package has the same three paint options as the Custom, plus it requires the Black recovery hooks (LPO, V76).

As last year, customers could replace the standard 18-inch High Gloss Black painted aluminum wheels (RD1) and LT275/65R18 Goodyear Wrangler Territory tires (R3O) on the Custom Trail Boss trim for 20-inch High Gloss Black painted aluminum wheels (RD5) and either 275/60R20 all-terrain tires (QAE) or LT265/60R20 MT Goodyear Wrangler Territory tires (QFV).

Pricing and photos of the Realtree Appearance Package for the 2026 Chevy Silverado Realtree Appearance Package are forthcoming, but we expect the aesthetics and price tag to be pretty similar to the Realtree Special Edition package it’s replacing.

  1. Why only on a custom?
    A custom is a W/T with 20s at a high price.
I do not know who still wants a 2010s interior but I do not.

    1. The Custom trim level fits many consumer’s price point, without looking like a work truck. And the “2010s” interior you speak of debuted in 2019 model year. Not everyone wants an interior full of screens everywhere. If the Custom could get the V8 engine, there would be more of these units on the road.

      1. The 19 interior is very similar to the 14 and not much of a difference to the one that came out in 07

      2. @jeffhoutx84…your 💯 percent right, the custom trim is a nice truck at a good price point, it’s about time Chevy made a trim package that doesn’t cost $100,000 dollars! The interior is just right nothing fancy or flashy…if you want show and go flash you’ll pay for it! Good job GM and Chevy! 👍👍

  2. Mazda once had a truck for $5795.

If I picked up my now wife in a truck like this and she knew what I paid for a couple of decals that will fade or get scratched off when we first started dating, she justifiably would have run for the hills.
