Beyond the new appearance packages, the 2026 Chevy Silverado EV also undergoes a few notable changes to the trim level lineup. Specifically, the 2WT Standard Range, RST Extended Range, and RST Max Range trims have been discontinued. In their place, Chevrolet is now offering the 3WT Standard + Range for fleet buyers and the 4WT Standard Range for retail customers. Additionally, the 5WT Extended Range and 8WT Max Range are once again offered for the 2026 model year.
Chevrolet has also expanded the LT range with the addition of the LT Standard Range and LT Max Range. Customers can also opt for two new Trail Boss variants, namely the Trail Boss Extended Range and Trail Boss Max Range, adding a fresh off-roader option to the lineup.
Production of the 2026 Chevy Silverado EV will once again take place at the GM Factory Zero plant in Detroit, Michigan, with the GM BT1 platform providing the underpinnings.
