2026 Chevy Silverado 1500 No Longer Offering These Premium Floor Mats

The 2026 Chevy Silverado 1500 is primarily a carryover from the preceding 2025 model year, marking the final iteration of the current fourth-generation pickup before the next-gen Silverado debuts for 2027. While mostly identical to the 2025 Silverado, the 2026 Silverado does introduce a few notable changes, such as an updated exterior paint list. In addition, the 2026 Chevy Silverado no longer offers a specific set of premium floor mats.

The 2026 Chevy Silverado 1500 no longer offers the front floor liners with removable carpet inserts.

More specifically, the 2026 Chevy Silverado 1500 will no longer offer the front floor liners with removable carpet inserts (RPO code BKF) and rear floor liners with removable carpet inserts (RPO code BKE). Both sets of premium floor mats were previously available on select trim levels.

For the 2025 model year, the front floor liners with removable carpet inserts were available as a $210 option on the Custom Trail Boss trim, but required selecting the $1,090 Midnight Edition package (RPO code WJP) along with either the 5.3L V8 L84 gasoline engine (priced at $1,795) or the 3.0L I6 LZ0 turbodiesel Duramax engine (priced at $2,590).

For 2025-model-year LT, RST, and LT Trail Boss trims, these mats were available via the Protection Package (RPO code WPQ, priced at $685), which also included wheelhouse liners (RPO code B1J) and the Chevytec spray-on bedliner (RPO code CGN).  For the LTZ trim, the floor liners were offered as a $130 option with the Protection Package, while on the High Country, they were a standalone option (priced at $130). To note, these premium mats were not available for the 2025-model-year WT, Custom, or ZR2 trims.

As covered previously, production of the 2026 Chevy Silverado 1500 is currently scheduled to begin on June 28th, 2025. Production will take place at three North American GM facilities, including the GM Fort Wayne Assembly plant in Indiana, the GM Silao Assembly plant in Guanajuato, Mexico, and the GM Oshawa Assembly plant in Ontario, Canada. However, it is currently unclear if all three locations will begin production on the same date.

The 2026 model year will offer all the usual pickup truck configurations, with Double Cab and Crew Cab models being the first to roll off the line, and Regular Cab units hitting production a week later. Dealer orders for the 2026 Silverado 1500 opened on May 1 st, 2025.

Looking ahead, the highly anticipated 2027 Chevy Silverado is expected to debut the next-generation Small Block V8 gasoline engine, as well as an all-new exterior design, interior layout, an optional PHEV engine, and the updated GM T1-2 platform.

  2. These mats are very nice and GM cutting them out is just another way of them being cheap and not carting to the customer. As long as they keep filling their pockets and screwing the buyers nothing will change.

  3. I got a set of these in my 21 RST with the LM2, when I traded it for my 24 ZR2 with the LZ0 I kept these and traded the RST with a set of the Z71 all weather liners in it, they are very nice IMHO.
