The 2026 Cadillac Escalade IQ ushers in the all-electric SUV’s second model year, bringing with it several important updates, including a revised trim level lineup and adjusted pricing. Notably, pricing for the 2026 Cadillac Escalade IQ is now directly aligned with pricing for the extended-length Cadillac Escalade IQL.
Looking over the starting prices for both models, we find a consistent $3,000 difference across all four trim levels. Interestingly, this pricing difference mirrors MSRP figures between the internal combustion engine (ICE) Escalade and the extended-length Escalade ESV.
The 2026 Cadillac Escalade IQ starts at $129,795 for the base Luxury trim, while the Escalade IQL Luxury starts at $132,795. The Escalade IQ Sport is priced at $130,295, with the Escalade IQL priced at $133,295, the IQ Premium Luxury trim is $150,095, versus $153,095 for the IQL Premium Luxury, while the top-tier Escalade IQ Premium Sport trim is listed at $150,595, as compared to $153,595 for the Escalade IQL Premium Sport. Note that all prices listed here include a destination freight charge of $2,390.

As covered previously, the 2026 Cadillac Escalade IQ introduces a revised trim level naming structure, shifting away from the numbered trim names used for the 2025 model year (Luxury 1, Sport 1, Luxury 2, and Sport 2). The new trim naming convention does not significantly alter the content of each trim level, although there are a few adjustments. In addition, Luxury and Sport trims are now $295 less expensive than their 2025 counterparts, primarily due to a switch from the 24-inch seven-spoke machined-face alloy wheels (RPO code RDP) wheels equipped as standard for 2025 to the 22-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels (RPO code Q7M) equipped as standard for 2026. The Premium Luxury and Premium Sport trims see a modest $5 price increase compared to the previous model year.
Both the 2026 Cadillac Escalade IQ and the Escalade IQL ride on the GM BT1 platform, with production taking place at the GM Factory Zero plant in Michigan.

What a dumb pricing strategy long version basically the same price with short one why you bother making two versions.
Market the smaller Escalade as a Buick and leave the bigger ‘slade for Cadillac. Then drop in a v-8 to justify the price.
