2026 Buick Envista To Offer This New Paint Color

First arriving in the North American market for the 2024 model year, the Buick Envista is the Tri-Shield brand’s most affordable model, playing a key role in GM’s strategy for the subcompact utility segment. Now, the 2026 Buick Envista is set to introduce the third model year for the first-generation crossover, bringing with it a few minor updates and changes. Among these is a new exterior paint option.

The 2026 Buick Envista will introduce a new exterior paint option.

Looking ahead, the 2026 Buick Envista will introduce a new paint option called Brilliant Red (color code GAS). The new shade will replace Cinnabar Metallic (color code GFM), the latter of which was available between the 2024 and 2025 model years. The 2026 Buick Encore GX and 2026 Buick Envision are also expected to offer Brilliant Red paint. Photos of the 2026 Buick Envista in brilliant Red are currently unavailable.

In addition to the new exterior color option, the 2026 Buick Envista is also expected to introduce a few minor equipment changes. These include the addition of a new standard tire inflator kit, while the 16-inch compact spare tire (RPO code SJQ) will become a standalone option.

Production of the 2026 Buick Envista is scheduled to begin on July 7th, 2025, at the GM Bupyeong plant in South Korea, the same facility responsible for production of the Chevy Trailblazer and Buick Encore GX. Dealer orders for the 2026 Envista will open on May 15th, 2025, as GM Authority covered previously.

Pricing details for the 2026 Buick Envista have yet to be revealed, but are expected to align closely with the 2025 model year. For reference, the 2025 Buick Envista starts at $25,195 for the Preferred trim, $26,695 for the Sport Touring (ST), and $29,995 for the range-topping Avenir. That said, the Buick Envista is part of what is known as the GM Korean Four, and will likely be impacted by new import tariffs enacted by the Trump administration.

Under the hood, the 2026 Buick Envista will cradle the turbocharged 1.2L I3 LBP gasoline engine, which is capable of running on E85 fuel and is rated at 137 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque. Under the skin, you’ll find the GM VSS-F vehicle platform.

  1. The Cinnabar Red is a gorgeous color. I am personally sick of seeing that Brilliant Red color. It is a “low-class” looking color. The only reason I can think of is because the Brilliant Red is cheaper. Somebody please kick the cost people out of the PDT meetings!!!
