GM launched the next-generation Buick Enclave in conjunction with the 2025 model year, offering up a slew of big changes, including new styling, an overhauled interior, new tech features, and a new powertrain as well. Now, the 2026 Buick Enclave introduces the third-gen crossover’s second model year with a few relatively minor updates. Among these is the inclusion of the trailering package as standard.
Previously available for the 2025 Enclave for an additional $650, the Trailering Package (RPO code V92) is now equipped as standard across the entirety of the 2026 Enclave lineup. The package bundles together several towing-related upgrades, including a heavy-duty engine cooling system (RPO code V08), Hitch Guidance (RPO code CTT), and Hitch View with a trailer hitch (RPO code PZ8). With these features on board, the 2026 Enclave now supports a towing capacity of up to 5,000 pounds, a major improvement over the prior standard towing capacity of 1,500 pounds, making the Enclave significantly more competitive in the three-row midsize crossover segment for those buyers who like to bring their toys along for the ride.
Under the hood, the 2026 Enclave is once again motivated by turbocharged 2.5L I4 LK0 gasoline engine. Output remains unchanged, delivering 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque, and paired with GM’s eight-speed automatic transmission. Both front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive configurations will be offered. Under the skin, the 2026 Buick Enclave rides on the GM C1 platform.
In addition to the trailering upgrade, the 2026 Enclave also offers two new exterior paint options, including Iridescent White Tricoat (color code G4J), which replaces the outgoing White Frost Tricoat (G1W) and will be offered across all three trims (Preferred, Sport Touring, and Avenir). Stone Metallic (color code GFR) is the second new hue, and will be exclusive to the Sport Touring trim, priced at $495.
Production of the 2026 Buick Enclave is currently scheduled to begin on July 14th, 2025 at the GM Lansing Delta Township plant in Michigan.
