The automaker’s Colombian subsidiary launched the new 2025 Chevy Tahoe Z71 in the domestic market of that country, the first in South America to receive the new version of the iconic Chevrolet body-on-frame SUV. In fact, Colombia is one of the few countries in the region where the Tahoe is offered as the flagship model of the brand’s utility portfolio, and is so popular that all pre-sale units of the 2025 Tahoe Z71 have already been spoken for.
“The new Tahoe Z71 represents Chevrolet’s advancement toward a vision of comprehensive, connected mobility tailored to the needs of the Colombian market,” said GM Colombia Country Manager, Juan David Rosero. “Its arrival not only reinforces our leadership in SUVs, but also symbolizes the transformation process that embodies our new ‘Let’s Drive Together’ image into more engaging, modern, and future-oriented brand experiences,” he added.
As such, the new 2025 Chevy Tahoe Z71 introduces the mid-cycle update of the fifth-generation Tahoe for the first time in Colombia and the entire region, arriving as the only version of the refreshed model available for the local market in that country. The off-road-focused version is ideal for the diverse terrain conditions of Colombian territory and is equipped with a complete package of technology, safety, and convenience features.
Mechanically, the 2025 Chevy Tahoe Z71 configured for the Colombian market includes the 5.3L L84 V8 engine that develops 355 horsepower and 518 Nm or 382 pound-feet of torque, coupled to GM’s 10-speed automatic transmission. This version is equipped as standard with 4WD, a transfer case and four driving modes, as well as multi-level air suspension to conquer any terrain.
The new 2025 Chevy Tahoe Z71 is now available for sale throughout the Chevrolet dealer network in Colombia, registering a higher-than-expected initial demand that sold out the initial units that GM had planned for the first half of the year and forced it to order a second batch more quickly. The 2025 Tahoe Z71 arrives in the South American country with units imported from the GM Arlington plant in Texas and this is its starting price:
- 2025 Tahoe Z71: 379,990,000 pesos (about $89,250 USD at the current exchange rate)
