The 2025 Chevy Colorado has received a new option package for the base WT trim level: the WT Custom Appearance Package, LPO (RPO PDH). This package of dealer-installed options enhances the aesthetic and functionality of this midsize pickup while keeping it in the affordable Work Truck variant.
The new option package for the 2025 Chevy Colorado includes the following:
- Hood Decal Package (LPO, SF8)
- Black Bowtie Emblem (LPO, SFZ)
- Gloss Black Tailgate lettering (LPO, SHQ)
- Premier Soft Roll-Up Truck Bed Cover by RealTruck Advantage (LPO, VPB)
- Black Assist Steps (LPO, VQO)
Much of the package adds more black exterior accents to the Colorado, namely the stylish hood decal, black bowtie in front, and gloss black tailgate lettering. Meanwhile, a soft roll-up bed cover and assist steps make the truck a little more practical.
Although pricing for the package hasn’t yet been confirmed, all of those options are available individually. Adding up the cost of all of them totals $1,815, but Chevy may offer a price break for getting them all together as a package.
Truck shoppers interested in the new WT Custom Appearance Package for the 2025 Chevy Colorado will also have to add the WT Custom Package (RPO ST0), which costs $1,145. This package also adds more black; it includes black “Colorado” badging (LPO RIK) and 18-inch black aluminum wheels (PZX) with 265/60R18 all-season tires (QIA).
Adding the WT Custom Package and the WT Custom Appearance Package to the Chevy Colorado WT should still keep its price under $37,000, which means it’s still more affordable than a Colorado LT when you add these options. Since the Chevy Colorado got a notable price increase across the board for the 2025 model year, it’s good to see variety on the lower end of the truck’s pricing spectrum.
Another change for the 2025 model year is a streamlined powertrain lineup. The base-level turbocharged 2.7L I4 L2R engine has been discontinued, leaving the Turbo High-Output 2.7L I4 L3B engine as the sole powertrain option, now branded as the TurboMax. This Turbo High-Output four-cylinder is rated at 310 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque.
As a reminder, the 2025 Chevy Colorado will continue to be produced at GM’s Wentzville Assembly Plant in Missouri. The mid-size pickup rides on the updated 31XX-2 platform.

That price gives me nausea.
One of many reasons I have a 2025 Maverick XLT AWD 2.0EB in my garage. After owning 5 brand new S-10s and 4 brand new Colorados, I am priced out of GM midsize trucks at this juncture. A base model Colorado with almost $4k in appearance options doesn’t bring it up to the level of what’s important to me.
You should have sat closer to the chalk board. You would know then those are not comparable trucks. 🛻
You know the compatibility is the Rangers.
Ridiculous. A WORK truck doesn’t need a hood stripe or special rims.
Though we all want affordability, not everyone is a fan of Stamped Wheels.
Leave it to gm to F things up. Way overpriced and the trims are ridiculous.
Leave that crap out – put a v6 in it. I don’t want a turbo 4 !
Whatever they do, don’t make it so changing the timing chain is a $7000+ dealer visit.
Like they did in past Colorados.
Much better!
I would rather just wait a few years and buy a good used one ! Nice to see colorado WT’s at least have a choice of colors other than white !
If the front bumper was body color it would look 100% better.
Over 1800 to ruin the look with way too much black plastic. A body color front bumper and exterior mirrors and some nice two tone machine faced wheels would improve the looks considerably!
