The 2025 Buick Encore GX follows the refreshed 2024 model year with a few important updates and changes, including a new E85-compatible engine, new paint options, and more. Now, we’re looking at three available options that are new to the Buick Encore GX for 2025.
A rear cargo net (RPO AP9) is now available for $95 as a handy feature for organizing your cargo. Bright chrome lug nuts (LPO S47) and wheel locks (LPO SFE) are also now available, both for $125 each, to add a little extra style and security to your wheels. All three of these new options are available for all three trims of the Buick Encore GX.
The 2025 Buick Encore GX offers the turbocharged 1.2L I3 LBP engine as a replacement for the turbocharged 1.2L I3 LIH gasoline engine offered previously. The LBP engine is compatible with E85 fuel, making the 2025 Encore GX a flex-fuel vehicle when equipped with the LBP engine. The turbocharged 1.3L I3 L3T gasoline engine is available for the 2025 model year as well, although the L3T is not compatible with E85 fuel.
Customers have three trim levels to choose from, including Preferred, Sport Touring (ST), and Avenir. Pricing starts at $27,395 for the Preferred, $28,595 for ST, and $32,895 for Avenir. Front-wheel drive is standard, while all-wheel drive is optional across the lineup. These prices include an April 2025 pricing update. It costs an extra $2,000 for the Preferred and ST trims, and it’s a $1,500 option for the top Avenir trim.
Regarding the exterior paint options, the 2025 Encore GX will offer Aquamarine Blue Metallic (paint code GKN) as an exclusive option for the ST trim level, indirectly replacing Sunrise Red Metallic (paint code GMF).
As a reminder, the Buick Encore GX rides on the GM VSS-F platform. Assembly takes place at the GM Bupyeong plant in South Korea.
