2024 Chevy Silverado Fox Factory Editions For Sale In LA And NJ

Since GM won’t build a desert-racing pickup to rival the Ford F-150 Raptor R, Fox Factory took it upon itself to customize the Chevy Silverado for greater high-speed, off-road capability and performance. Now, two such examples of the rare Chevy Silverado Fox Factory Edition are up for sale.

One is available at Navarre Chevrolet in Louisiana, and the other is up for sale at Burlington Chevrolet in New Jersey. The one in NJ is slightly more affordable; its list price is $184,900, and the other one is listed for $197,749. The price difference is likely because the one located in Louisiana only has 39 miles on the odometer, and the other one shows 2,761 miles. When new, the Silverado Fox Factory pickup was priced at $209,999.

Each Fox Factory Edition Silverado is built using a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 RST trim vehicle with 4WD as the starting point, powered by the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine. While the L87 normally develops 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, the collaboration between Fox Factory and the Brenthel brothers of Baja Kits enhances the V8 with a twin-screw Whipple Gen V 3.0L supercharger and a high-capacity billet aluminum air-to-water intercooler, raising output to a scorching estimated 700 horsepower and 640 pound-feet of torque.

Since this is an L87-powered truck from the 2024 model year, it’s likely impacted by GM’s massive recall for this V8 in trucks and SUVs from the 2021-2024 model years. If you’re considering buying one of these super Silverados, consider asking the dealer about the truck’s recall status.

The Chevy Silverado Fox Factory Edition is also fitted with a stainless steel Borla cat-back exhaust as standard. Power is sent through a 3.73 gearset and upgraded axles to 17-inch Fox Factory Edition wheels wrapped in 37-inch puncture-resistant BFGoodrich Baja Champion All Terrain tires. The wheels have special Bead Grip tech providing performance similar to a beadlock while remaining DOT-compliant and street-legal.

With a track width that’s 7.5 inches wider than standard, the 2024 Chevy Silverado Fox Factory Edition also features a number of suspension add-ons that help it conquer rocks, whoops, and other desert racing obstacles. These include electronically controlled semi-active FOX 3.2 Live Valve coil-over shocks and other enhancements, giving it vertical travel of 14.5 inches in front and 15.5 inches at the rear.

Improved LED lighting deploys up to 60,000 lumens for high-speed performance at night, and some styling upgrades include a carbon fiber hood, fenders, and bedsides showcasing exclusive edition-specific sculpting.

If you wish GM would build its own 700-horsepower off-road pickup to compete with the Ford F-150 Raptor R and the Ram TRX, which might be coming back soon, then these Silverados are about as close as you can get to such a truck. If this doesn’t suit your taste, SVE, Callaway, and PaxPower have some interesting fast Silverado options of their own.
