Cradling the naturally aspirated 5.5L V8 LT6 gasoline engine, the new Z06 doles out an impressive 670 horsepower at 8,400 rpm and 460 pound-feet of torque at 6,300 rpm, spinning all the way up to an 8,600-rpm redline. Properly applied to the rear wheels, it’s enough to slingshot the C8 Z06 from 0 to 60 mph in a mere 2.6 seconds.
