The GM Authority Take
Chevrolet sales posted a healthy increase in Q1 2025, with over half of the brand’s models finishing the quarter in the green.
At 127K deliveries, the Chevy Silverado full-size pickup truck remained the best-seller not only for Chevy, but also for GM, accounting for 29 percent of all sales among the Bow Tie brand’s 19 nameplates. Even so, Silverado sales fell one percent during the quarter.
It was followed by the all-new Chevy Equinox, which saw sales increase 31 percent to 71K deliveries, thereby once again being the best-selling utility vehicle for Chevy and for GM as a whole. Next up was the Chevy Trax with 59K deliveries, posting a 57 percent jump in sales. On a combined basis, these two small crossovers saw 130,023 sales, moving more units than the Silverado. Meanwhile, these three nameplates alone cumulatively accounted for 58 percent, or nearly two-fifths, of all deliveries at Chevy.
Sales of Chevy EVs grew 121 percent to over 19K units during Q1 2025. The Chevy Equinox EV continued to lead the way with 10K deliveries and a 54 percent share of sales. The Chevy Blazer EV followed with 6,187 deliveries, while the Silverado EV posted 2,383 units. Recently rebadged for the Bow Tie brand, the all-electric Chevy BrightDrop joins the stable, posting 274 deliveries.

Comments
Oh, here we go. Never-ending stories about Q1 when, since, the economy is crashing and those results are 100% irrelevant.
Oh, here we go. Never-ending stupidity from Beachy, whose comments are not only irrelevant, but also IQ-lowering.
Anyone who reads your lame excuses for comments becomes dumber by the minute. I award you no points, and may G0D have mercy on your soul.
Corvette bubble has burst. C8 needs a refresh.
Poor Malibu. For a while it was killing it and consistantly coming in third in the Chevy sales. And then GM killed it. You can’t find any on lots. No dealers want to have them and of course sales have tanked.
I saw several Malibus at Enterprise rentals in Florida. But I rented a Chevy Equinox EV instead. It is a fascinating vehicle, and so quiet! Do a test drive and feel it yourselves.
Rather, Trax and Trailblazer’s increasing sales are proves the GM Korea’s important role. We should remember the lots of buyers are preferred Korean crossovers. Tariff will be chocking the Working classes life and automotive industry, Not a american job increase.
Glanced over these but I’m thinking a Silverado EV probably is not going to have very good resale value.
