This 2025 Cadillac XT6 Paint Color Is No Longer Available To Order

The 2025 Cadillac XT6 is likely to be the crossover’s final model year and introduces just three changes compared to the previous year’s offering, including a colorway deletion and some optional package reshuffling. GM Authority has also learned that one of the vehicle’s seven colors is no longer available to order.

Crystal White Tricoat (color code G1W), which was offered as a $1,225 extra-charge option on all trim levels, is no longer available to order on the 2025 Cadillac XT6 for the remainder of the model year.

According to the latest information Crystal White Tricoat will be built out during the week of May 25th, 2025. Shoppers wanting to buy a 2025 Cadillac XT6 sporting this particular exterior paint color will need to find one on offer in current dealership inventory.

Several other Cadillac models are retiring the Crystal White Tricoat color for the 2025 model year. The paint is being dropped from the 2025 Cadillac CT4 and retired from the 2025 Cadillac CT5 sedan as well. While Crystal White will be replaced by a new white hue – called Vibrant White Tricoat (color code G4J) – for 2026 model year Cadillac vehicles, the XT6 won’t get this color since North American production is scheduled to end in November 2025.

In fact, The General is actually replacing Crystal White Tricoat (G1W) with the new G4J paint color across its model lineup in all four of its core vehicle brands. It’s called Vibrant White Tricoat at Cadillac, Polar White Tricoat at Chevy and Glacier White Tricoat at GMC. No name has been announced yet for Buick models.

As a reminder, the 2025 Cadillac XT6 crossover cradles one of two powerplants under the hood: the turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine developing 235 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque or the naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 LGX gasoline engine rated at 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque. Both are paired with the GM nine-speed automatic transmission and both FWD and AWD configurations are available.

  2. I see so many vehicles on the road with clearcoat and paint coming off from all manufacturers these days, yet they charge big bucks for most paints available. Maybe they should offer paint delete option. Would blend with the multiple shades of gray available.
