Headlined by bigger dimensions, an overhauled interior with a 30-inch infotainment display, and a new turbocharged powerplant, among other changes and updates, the 2025 Buick Enclave debuts the crossover’s all-new third generation. Now, one of its paint options is no longer available to order for the rest of the model year.
The White Frost Tricoat (color code G1W) option, previously available for all three trims of the 2025 Buick Enclave, can no longer be ordered. Units painted this color will be built out during the week of April 28th, 2025. When it was available, White Frost Tricoat was a $1,095 option for the Preferred and ST trims and a $600 upgrade with the Avenir trim.
White Frost Tricoat will most likely be replaced by a new white tricoat hue with the color code G4J for the 2026 model year. This color doesn’t have a Buick name yet, but it’s become available across GM’s other three North American retail brands. It’s called Polar White Tricoat for Chevy, Glacier White Tricoat for GMC, and Vibrant White Tricoat for Cadillac.
The start of regular production (SORP) of the 2026 Buick Enclave is currently scheduled for July 14th, 2025. Dealers can begin placing orders on June 12th. Unsurprisingly, these are the same SORP and ordering dates as the 2026 GMC Acadia, which is built alongside the Enclave at the GM Lansing Delta Township facility in Michigan.
Although the third-generation Buick Enclave is true to form as a plus-size three-row crossover with generous interior space, it brings some pretty significant changes. It’s the first Enclave in North America that’s not powered by a V6, instead employing the turbocharged 2.5L I4 LK0 engine. Compared to the 3.6L V6 LFY in the previous generation, the new turbo-four makes more power and torque while returning about the same fuel economy.
The third-generation Enclave also features a handsome new design inspired by the Buick Wildcat EV concept, which is in line with the new design language that’s spread throughout Buick’s entire North American lineup. Also, for the first time in any Buick model, the Super Cruise hands-free driving system is available.

They are good at this BS…
ALL BUICKS SHOULD BE MADE IN THE USA
Guessing they will keep the cheap # Summit White. Which really has no place outside Express vans and work trucks.
