As GM Authority was first to tell you back in 2022, Chevrolet is gearing up to launch a major interior refresh for the C8 Corvette in conjunction with the upcoming 2026 model year. Our spy photographers have already captured prototype models out on public roads testing the updates, with a reshaped center console, dash, center stack, and control scheme all on the docket. Now, new spy images offer a detailed glimpse of the sports car’s latest infotainment and digital readout design.
Among the most notable updates is the introduction of a new horizontally-oriented three-screen layout which once again underlines the C8 Corvette‘s driver-centric focus. The new layout now integrates an additional display to the left of the main digital gauge cluster. In the photos, this screen is showing engine metrics such as coolant temperature and oil pressure, but we’re sure that it can be changed to show other valuable data points.
The primary gauge cluster continues to deliver essential information such as speed and cruise control settings, while the third display – the center infotainment screen on the far right – handles infotainment tasks such as navigation and media. This screen is also a bit larger than the eight-inch display used currently, and seems to be of a higher resolution as well.
Right below the new center infotainment screen is the center air vent, which carries over from the 2020-2025 models, along with a new set of climate control buttons. This coincides with the removal of the “wall of buttons” that previously divided the cabin. The new HVAC buttons create a cleaner, more cohesive center stack layout, although the central dividing bar remains. Now, however, this dividing bar features a handle for the passenger, a feature that Chevy originally introduced on the C7 Corvette.
Other interior changes include a revised binnacle hood for the gauge cluster, a revised dash pattern, exposed cupholders (no longer featuring a lid), and what appears to be a new phone charging area just ahead of the cupholders.
While this particular interior was caught on a C8 Stingray, we full expect it to make its way to all C8 Corvette models.
A wider palette of interior colors will also be on track for the 2026 Corvette, including a vibrant cobalt blue hue and a new red-and-white combination.
Beyond cabin updates, the 2026 Corvette lineup is poised to debut the Corvette Zora hybrid, a new range-topping model set to surpass the twin-turbocharged C8 ZR1 in terms of power and performance.
What do you think of the updated C8 Corvette interior? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!

ugly interior and ugly car
Allo, ici la réception, on vous appelle pour récupérer votre Bugatti Veyron. Oh, vous n’avez pas de Bugatti, désolé, mauvaise chambre. Vous n’êtes pas à l’hôtel ? Brooklyn ? New York ? Ici l’Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo, à Monaco. Il faut franchir les limites, probablement l’Interpol à la recherche de trafiquants de drogue, encore… “
Very nice and much better.
Wish the screen would have been bigger though because I am assuming some functions have been moved to the screen only.
So, the wall is still there it’s just a couple inches lower and doesn’t have buttons anymore.
It’s not so much a wall now… more like a tasteful panel with a handle, which is great for the passenger during “spirited” driving.
Still enough of a barrier to make it a cramped cabin, which was the #1 complaint of the wall.
The heck with screens.
Upper dash still appears needlessly complex with what looks like aqueducts. Lower dash is probably more user friendly but 50 years from now people will probably want the original C8 for its more novel dash arrangement.
I’m waiting for this era of 1950s-like overstyled cars to be over. I prefer clean, simple, and purposeful; like a ‘68 Corvette.
I’d gladly trade all 3 of those dumb screens for a 3rd pedal.
give it up jim those days are over with and aint coming back. Get an older vette for 3 pedals or move around
Hey, there’s a guy who put a big block engine in a C8, so a pedal conversion I’m sure is possible.
Fewer switches to search for at night is always a plus for me.

For a few of us, these video screens look like a lap top screen, screwed to a dash. Designers sculpt a flowing dash left to right. Then, sone techie says we need to mount a computer screen on top of your dash. Too many cars have this hideous design. They look like the added computer equipment mounted without regards to aesthetics in police cars and taxi’s.
My favorite dash is still the original 2014 ATS. Marge center analog clock with the GPS screen retracting Into the dash to just display outside temperature and radio frequency. Rest of the dash was a stitched leather frame for your main view…..the road.
100% I’ve said the same thing
Why does a sports car or for that matter any car need to have a dashboard that looks like an office? It’s an ugly and unnecessary distraction but it saves them money.
I love the C8 Corvette, but the interior design is awful.
sitting in these you have no room, for a mid engine car should have spacious interior]
We can tell who the old Geezers are. Like the new changes or move on. Resistance is futile.
Not necessarily all old Geezers, but overweight old Geezers would be my guess.
Or overtall.
The new change looks nice. Radio controls on the steering wheel need redesign. See the Jeep controls. They are great. Will not miss the wall of switches. Love the C8 design.
MK, Go crawl back into your Nissan hole..
This site is for people that can appreciate vehicles that gm designs and produces.
As a 2023 Z06 owner I actually like this change. I was happy with the layout of my Z06 including the wall of buttons, but I think this is an improvement.
I like my wall of buttons, but new dash looks okay, and yes i am a gesser, bought my first vette when I was 17 and still love every one of them have a 2022 will be buying a 2025 or 2026 dash makes no difference to me 61 years of driving the greatest car ever Frank
Perfect.
I have to pause and contemplate the seeming conundrum of the Corvette ZORA engineers — trying to figure out how to possibly jam two 200+ horsepower electric motors into the front section of the ZR1.
Well guys, try looking at the Ferrari SF90 Stradale, or the Zenvo Aurora, or Rimac, Aspark, Tesla, Deus, Lotus, Pininfarina, Lucid Air, Maserati, Nio, and even the humble Genesis. Maybe you’ve heard of some of them . . .
“….although the central dividing bar remains”
Interesting that they kept this somewhat prominent and controversial design element. I’m beginning to think it may hide a structure member. Perhaps to carry energy transfer for frontal impact and enhance overall structural stiffness.
From my perspective, the bar was and is taking up prime real estate.
