General Motors has just officially launched the refreshed 2025 Cadillac Escalade in South Korea, after announcing Cadillac’s luxury SUV in the country earlier this month.

The automaker’s South Korean subsidiary has launched the refreshed 2025 Cadillac Escalade in the Asian country’s domestic market, which becomes Cadillac’s second market outside of North America to introduce the updated iconic luxury SUV following its arrival in the Middle East. The 2025 Escalade arrives in South Korea with a major update that further improves the level of refinement and sophistication of the brand’s flagship model.

“The New Escalade is a model that inherits the 123-year heritage of Cadillac, while also containing innovations for the future, reborn with a more confident, sophisticated, and intelligent appearance,” said GM Korea Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Communications, Myongok Yoon. “It will become a model that goes beyond a simple means of transportation and accompanies customers’ lifestyles, various life stories, and moments of success,” she added.

Under the advertising slogan “The New Escalade,” the refreshed 2025 Cadillac Escalade launches in the South Korean market with a lineup comprised of the standard Escalade and the extended-length Escalade ESV, both configured exclusively with the Premium Luxury Platinum and Sport Platinum trim levels. As such, all 2025 Escalade units sold in the country come standard with the entire suite of advanced technology and safety features.

Mechanically, the 2025 Cadillac Escalade is equipped with the 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine that develops 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, coupled to GM’s 10-speed automatic transmission. Additionally, all versions include 4WD, the Air Ride adaptive suspension and the Magnetic Ride Control system that provides an enhanced driving experience.

The refreshed 2025 Cadillac Escalade lineup is now available for sale throughout the authorized Cadillac dealer network in South Korea, including GM Korea’s multi-brand experience centers in that country. Highlights include a bolder and more sophisticated front end design, as well as a massive 55-inch curved pillar-to-pillar display with the latest multimedia system and premium AKG audio. Prices for both trim levels are the same, with only the body style varying:

  • 2025 Escalade: 166,070,000 won (about $117,440 USD at the current exchange rate)
  • 2025 Escalade ESV: 188,070,000 won ($132,990 USD)
