Nike Unveils Devin Booker x Chevrolet Sneakers And T-Shirts

NBA star Devin Booker is bringing his signature style off the court with a new collaboration between Nike and Chevrolet, with plans to launch some fresh footwear later this month. The special-edition collection of sneakers and apparel were directly inspired by Booker’s three vintage 1972 Chevrolet Blazers, and features fresh colorways for his signature Nike Book 1 and Nike Blazer Low, all designed with Booker’s love for classic cars in mind. Fans will be able to purchase the new sneaker line via the SNKRS app and at select Nike retailers.

For those readers who may be unaware, Booker plays as shooting guard for the Phoenix Suns, joining the team in 2015. Prior to launching his profession career, Booker played college basketball for the University of Kentucky Wildcats during the 2014 through 2015 season. Known for his clutch performances and offensive game, Booker made a name for himself after dropping 70 points in a single game at just 20 years old.

Now, Booker is set to fire off a new collaboration with Nike and Chevy with a selection of new footwear, including:

  • Book 1 x Chevrolet “Dark Gold Leaf”
  • Blazer Low x Chevrolet “Team Dark Green”
  • Blazer Low x Chevrolet “Surf Blue”

Each shoe color is based on the paint jobs of Booker’s personal Chevy Blazers, creating a unique blend of old-school car culture and modern fashion. To complete the look, the collection also includes graphic T-shirts featuring images of one of Devin’s Blazers parked against the Phoenix Mountains.

Fans can pick up the Book 1 x Chevrolet “Dark Gold Leaf”, Blazer Low x Chevrolet “Team Dark Green”, and graphic tees starting April 22nd via the Nike’s SNKRS app. The Blazer Low x Chevrolet “Surf Blue” will be available the same day at select Nike retailers across North America.

This is far the first time that a prominent NBA star has teamed up with Chevy for a promotion. One of the more recent examples is Luka Doncic, who’s personal collection of GM vehicles have played a role in both sneaker ads and video games.
