Here Are All The 2025 GMC Canyon Colors

Along with several other notable changes to the nameplate with the arrival of its third model year, such as making an optional package out of the previous GMC Canyon AT4X  trim level, three new 2025 GMC Canyon colors are added to the pickup’s exterior paint lineup.

The 2025 GMC Canyon colors now feature Glacier Metallic (color code GAE), Rapids Metallic (GAL) and Desert Sun (GBF) in place of the freshly retired Solar Flare Metallic (GCP), Dynamic Blue Metallic (GLT), and Desert Sand Metallic (GTL). You can view the palette of eight GMC Canyon colors here:

While eight 2025 GMC Canyon colors are on offer, each of the three trim levels – Elevation, AT4 and Denali – get only six exterior paint options each. The single no-charge paint color, Summit White (GAZ), is available across all three trims.

The rest of the GMC Canyon colors for the 2025 model year are priced at $495 additional, while the single tintcoat offered for the year predictably costs somewhat more at $645 extra. The table below summarizes the availability, prices, and other useful details about the 2025 GMC Canyon colors:

Beyond the changes to the available GMC Canyon colors, the 2025 model year adds the Canyon Nightfall Edition Package, tagged with RPO code XNF, to the list of options on offer. The AT4 trim gets an optional snorkel while an acoustic laminated windshield is optional on that trim and equipped as standard on the Denali. Several changes are also introduced to the pickup’s wheels and tires.

Pricing for the 2025 Canyon ranges from the RWD Elevation trim’s starting MSRP of $39,995 up to the $53,595 base price for the Denali trim. These prices include the model’s $1,595 destination freight charge from GM. The official online configurator for the truck has been live since December.

Motivation is supplied by the TurboMax-branded 2.7L I4 L3B gasoline engine developing 310 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque. Cog swaps are handled by the GM eight-speed automatic transmission, while buyers can choose between rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive.

The Canyon is underpinned by the updated 31XX-2 platform, with production taking place at the GM Wentzville plant in Missouri, where the Chevy Colorado pickup and the Chevy Express and GMC Savana vans also roll off the assembly line.

  3. Glad to see that most manufacturers are getting away from Black, White and 50 shades of grey. It is pleasing to see some vibrant colors that stand out from the crowd. Who would want boring grey or silver ?

  4. The Canyon is such a great looking truck. The Colorado looks like a little truck. The Canyon is a work of sculpture.
