About GMC Canyon

The 2025 Canyon debuts as the third-gen’s third model year featuring a few notable changes, including revised optional packages, more standard features for the Elevation trim level, and new paint options plus a new Nightfall Edition, but the AT4 loses its standalone Mud Terrain tire option. Here is everything that’s new and different for the 2025 Canyon vs. the 2024.

All Canyon trims are equipped with the TurboMax turbocharged 2.7L I4 L3B gasoline engine as standard.

Here are the 2025 Canyon payload capacities and how much it can tow.

Pricing for the 2025 Canyon shows it starting at $40,095 for the entry-level rear-wheel-drive Elevation trim, $47,395 for the off-road-ready AT4 trim, and $53,695 for the range-topping premium Denali trim. All these include a recently revised $1,695 destination freight charge. Here is 2025 Canyon pricing with options and packages.

Compared to the preceding 2024 model year, the 2025 Canyon Elevation is now $2,500 more expensive, while the AT4 trim is now $2,800 more, and the Denali costs $1,100 more. Notably, the AT4X becomes an optional package for 2025, rather than a standalone trim level. It of course can be upgraded to the AEV Edition.
