Ah yes, the classic Ford Mustang meme – driver attempts to show off at a cars and coffee event, only to lose control and wreck their ride. It’s the sort of thing we’ve seen time and time again. Unfortunately, this latest example also includes a C6 Corvette, which just so happens to be in the way when this Mustang driver ends up short in skill.
The video is only 11 seconds long and was recently posted to social media.
The video opens to show a black Ford Mustang stopped on a four-lane road. The Mustang is seen in front of a crowd of people, who watch on as other cars exit a nearby parking lot. Apparently, the parking lot was hosting a small local car meet of some kind. The conditions are clear, with clean, dry pavement and sunny skies above.
As the video gets under way, we see the Mustang driver start to do a burnout, revving their engine and spinning the rear tires to impress the crowd. A Mercedes sedan drives by the scene, crossing into incoming lanes to avoid the Ford, possibly acutely aware of what’s about to happen next.
We see the Mustang driver release the brake and the two-door surges forward, a trail of tire smoke in its wake as onlookers capture video with their phones. The driver keeps their foot down as the rear end swings back and forth. However, the driver fails to keep the Mustang in line, and before long, the rear end steps out as the driver suddenly becomes a passenger.
We see the Mustang slide around backwards into the adjacent sidewalk, hopping a curb before smashing into a parked C6 Corvette. Luckily, the curb stops the Mustang from sliding further, and while there are some bystanders nearby, it doesn’t look like anyone is hit by the out-of-control Mustang.
It’s an embarrassment, to be sure, and even worse, the Corvette is tied up in the incident. But at least no one was injured – with the exception of the driver’s pride, of course.

…And the Vette was minding their own business…
A day in the life of Secretary Hegseth.
A sorry, sadsack comment from a miserably unhappy mind. Totally irrelevant to the topic.

Montavious, what a great comment to put these buffoons in their place. What’s the matter with these fools? The presidential election is long over with, and they still can’t get over it. I always see political comments on completely irrelevant posts made by these sad individuals. PRESIDENT TRUMP, TWICE ELECTED PRESIDENT OF THE US… SUPPORTED AND LOVED BY MILLIONS OF AMERICAN PATRIOTS. Get over it !!!

Duh huh!
Poor Corvette Owner now has to suffer with having a “repaired” Corvette . It will never ever feel that same. Insurance companies are no help at all on the feeling owners have about their cars. Some cannot be replaced. There should be insurance money for lost time, emotional distress. The safety of all was truly threatened, even if no one was hurt the reality is, the damage could have been a human life. My neighbor bought his young teenage son a Shelby, because he wanted one, now the neighborhood suffers the noise of this way too loud car driven by a disrespectful teen with no experience. High performance cars should require maybe a little extra drivers education.
If that were to happen, your overly high priced insurance rates would go through the roof even more.
Too much car or not enough driver or both?
More horsepower than brains.
Too much car, not enough driver!
The mustang was looking for a crowd but only found a C6 ! 😛
Why is it every time I see one of these videos it almost always involves a Mustang ???
