General Motors Canada is teaming up with Costco to offer a new exclusive rebate on select GMC vehicles. Through June 2nd, 2025, Costco members can now participate in a limited-time program offering up to $1,200 in savings on eligible 2024 and 2025 GMC EVs currently in dealer inventory. Applying for the savings is a relatively straightforward process, and should provide new vehicle customers with relatively moderate savings on Big Red’s latest premium all-electric models.
The new Costco inventive program is available for the following GMC vehicles:
- 2025 Sierra EV pickup
- 2024 and 2025 Hummer EV SUV
- 2024 and 2025 Hummer EV Pickup
Even better, buyers can stack the new Costco rebate on top of existing manufacturer incentives, potentially increasing the total savings on a new purchase, lease, or finance agreement by a considerable amount. The new offer applies exclusively to Canadian residents with a valid Costco membership as of March 31st, 2025. A valid driver’s license is also required for eligibility.
To claim the rebate, customers must first register on the Costco Canada website using their membership ID in order to receive a savings certificate. The certificate can then either be printed or presented digitally at a participating GM Canada dealership when purchasing or leasing one of the eligible vehicles listed above. Vehicle delivery must be completed by June 2nd. Notably, dealer trades or factory orders may be needed to in order secure specific vehicle configurations. Also, the rebate is applied after tax.
While CA$1,200 may be a relatively modest sum when applied to the high starting prices of the qualifying models (CA$133,698 for the GMC Hummer EV and CA$118,499 for the GMC Sierra EV, including destination freight charge), it still represents a meaningful bonus for new EV customers looking to save a bit. To that end, in addition to the rebate outlined above, eligible Costco members may also qualify for special Costco Member Pricing on select OnStar plans.
