General Motors Canada has teamed up with Costco to offer Costco members a limited-time incentive program. The new program includes rebates on select Cadillac electric vehicles for the 2025 model year, and is valid between now and June 2nd, 2025. Members will receive up to CA$1,200 in savings on eligible models currently in dealer inventory, potentially providing a small push to get into that new luxury EV they’ve been eyeing.
The rebate is available for three key entries in Cadillac’s growing EV portfolio: the 2025 Optiq, 2025 Lyriq, and 2025 Escalade IQ. All three models offer a combination upscale design, a luxurious cabin, and a zero-emission powertrain. The Escalade IQ builds on the iconic SUV nameplate as the flagship in Caddy’s all-electric utility model lineup, while the Lyriq serves as the brand’s midsize EV crossover. Finally, the Optiq rounds out the lineup as a compact utility model.
Critically, customers can combine the new Costco rebate with existing manufacturer incentives, potentially offering significant savings. The incentive is also available whether customers choose to purchase, lease, or finance their new EV.
For reference, the Escalade IQ starts at CA$159,999, the Lyriq starts at CA$70,099, and the Optiq starts at CA$62,599.
To qualify, members must have an active Costco membership as of March 31st, 2025, as well as possess a valid driver’s license. Registration for the new incentive can be done through the Costco Canada website. Once registered, members will receive a certificate that can be presented at participating GM Canada dealerships in order to receive the rebate.
The new offer is limited to vehicles already in dealer stock, although factory orders or dealer trades may be necessary to secure specific trims or equipment configurations. Rebates are applied after taxes and must be redeemed before the June 2nd deadline.
As an aside, eligible Costco members may also receive special pricing on select OnStar subscription plans.
