To celebrate the deep roots of Chevrolet’s full-size truck in the region, General Motors has just launched the all-new 2025 Chevy Silverado Chafar Edition in the Middle East.
The automaker’s Middle East subsidiary unveiled the all-new 2025 Chevy Silverado Chafar Edition, a customized variant of the pickup truck designed exclusively for customers in that region. Specifically, GM refers to the six Arab countries that make up the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) as the primary target markets for the 2025 Silverado Chafar Edition, evoking a term deeply rooted in local culture.
“When you say Chafar, you’re speaking to a legacy that runs deep across this region. This limited-edition embodies the spirit of that legacy, giving drivers a way to showcase their unique personality on the road. It’s about the price and tradition that define this region,” said Chief Marketing Officer of GM Africa and Middle East, Furrukh Jawaid. “The Silverado Chafar Edition is Chevrolet’s way of celebrating the trust we’ve built with the people of the GCC and their unwavering loyalty over the years,” he added.
Specifically, the new 2025 Chevy Silverado Chafar Edition is a customized version of the truck based on the base LT trim level in Crew Cab Short Bed configuration, with a special finish that combines the Silverado’s heritage, performance, and modern style with a typical Middle Eastern significance. In fact, “Chafar” is a local term deeply rooted in the culture of GCC countries that evokes stories of family, travel, and ties to the land.
As such, the 2025 Chevy Silverado Chafar Edition features custom details such as horizontal stripe decals on the sides, Chafar badges on the grille, tailgate, and interior, decorative moldings, unique chrome-finished wheels, and a black hood bulge that reinforces the truck’s presence. Additionally, the Silverado Chafar adds a red and blue stripe pattern to the tailgate lettering and several other areas.
The new 2025 Chevy Silverado Chafar Edition is now available for sale in major Middle Eastern countries, as a limited edition that strengthens the model’s connection with regional customers. Apparently, it will only be offered in the highly popular white color in the region, combining the attributes that Silverado users like the most, such as the 5.3L V8 L84 gasoline engine and the most comprehensive infotainment system.
