The 2026 Corvette marks the seventh model year for the mid-engine C8, introducing a range of updates and changes. Among the updates is a pair of new exterior paint colors, namely Roswell Green Metallic and Blade Silver Metallic. Now, Chevrolet has revealed the first official glimpse of the two new hues, giving enthusiasts an early look at the refreshed paint palette.
Starting it off is Roswell Green Metallic, which is tagged with paint code G4Z and presents a striking, emerald-like finish. With its bright, lime green tint, the new color injects a vivid, almost otherworldly presence into the Corvette’s aggressive styling – an appropriate match for those eager to turn heads in their new mid-engine supercar.
Meanwhile, Blade Silver Metallic, tagged with paint code GKA, offers a more refined and classic aesthetic with a crisp, clean silver tone that evokes the imagery of a freshly honed blade, lending the C8 Corvette a timeless and elegant appearance in the process. While more understated than Roswell Green, Blade Silver Metallic still manages to deliver a strong, performance-driven aesthetic.
The two new colors will indirectly replace Rapid Blue (paint code GMO) and Sea Wolf Gray Tricoat (paint code GXA), both of which will be discontinued after the 2025 model year.
Beyond the new exterior paint options, the 2026 Corvette also brings significant changes inside the cabin. As covered previously, a leaked GM parts catalog image has revealed a redesigned interior layout, moving away from the divisive “wall of buttons” design seen in the current C8 lineup. The new setup features updated digital screens mounted side-by-side in a horizontal orientation, including a larger, high-resolution infotainment display estimated between 10 to 12 inches. Climate controls have been repositioned beneath the main screen, streamlining the cockpit for a cleaner, more intuitive user experience.
In terms of performance, the 2026 model year is also expected to debut the new Corvette Zora, a hybrid-powered range-topper that promises even greater output and performance than the already formidable twin-turbocharged C8 ZR1.
All C8 Corvette variants continue to ride on the GM Y2 platform and are produced at the GM Bowling Green Assembly plant in Kentucky.

Holy sh*t, FINALLY some good colors that actually belong on the car. More of this please.
Do you have any idea when GM is going to release the Zora Corvette, and the approximate amount of Corvette Zora will be produced in 2026
2. Any idea when the books will be open for Dealers to place a Order for a Zora
When will the Corvette dealers take orders for the Zora?
If you don’t have a relationship with one of the few dealers that will get allocation you are probably too late.
That Roswell Green is totally insane. I LOVE IT.
Keep the blue and don’t add a silver color. Silver is so over done.
I agree. Very tired of silver and grey.
ZR1 in Roswell Green “The Green Monster”
I saw a C8 drive by my house the other day in the dark grey color and it looked fantastic.
I do like the above green color as well.
Most all supercars look good. -Corvette, Ferrari, you name it.
Here’s to greens but this hue looks worse than the pea soup in “The Exorcist”. Ugh. TOO Green.
Blade Silver.. same as 2020?
It’s nice to see a green introduced into the Corvette’s color pallet but the picture has been doctored-up so much, you really can’t tell what the true color of green is available
I prefer the class phantom green.
Classic phantom green
Glad silver is back!
I am of the ilk that has had enough of grey and sliver cars. So yesterday.
